No issue with connection and compatibility, but the Netflix content is less then preinstalled free streaming apps.

Nicety, thanks for the feedback.
But it seem his is the different version of H8 which is 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM with gold casing, the netflix is keep loading but not able to play the movie.

I personally tested H8 2+16 working smoothly with Netflix. I strongly believe you use the wrong APK which the seller you bought did not tell you. Uninstall the factory install Netflix and reinstall again from Google Play store.

Popcorn Hour VTEN is digital media player where you mainly depend on Popcorn Hour app to play in the Popcorn Hour hardware.

Himedia H8 is Android TV box is using Open Source Android Operating System where you don't depend on Himedia apps, you can install thousands of Android Apps from Google Play store or APK files.

The above two product are two different product range, it is not apple to apple comparison.

Dear Customers,

After 6 months and 2 days since H8 Octa Core released in this thread, I would like to share that we received zero hardware defect from customers. This has break my record of selling Himedia Android TV box. Typically the Q series hardware defect rate between 1%-2%. However, H8 Octa Core quality is above my expectation, until now no customer reported hardware failure and claim hardware warranty.
