Thanks for the infor on the 3 partitions.
AA
Possible to increase the 2 GB app partition to say 4 GB?
BB
Strange that this is Android architecture (in Window, one can install as many programs as one likes as long as the hd allows. Running the programs, however, will be limited by the ROM).
Tried to delete some apps. Some successful and some not. There are some phone related apps in there. When I tried to uninstall, it does not have this uninstall option. Only clear memory. Please advise on how to uninstall apps like this.

Wonder what is the file partition for? So much free unused space there.
DD
With low memory space, this affects running Kobi, stuck here and there. How much free space should I aim for?
EE
Doing this updating has helped me in knowing more on Android and Kobi.
Discovered that there are some good apps ( Movie HD, Movie Tube, etc etc). Tried a few movies and I could watched them without any bad links rejection. In some ways, better than Kodi where at times, it is try, try and try. User interface is better in Kodi (nicer graphic), however.
Cheerio.
AA). The partition is fix in the factory, unable to increase. AA

P/S : pls don't install too many apps in the box, install only usable apps to avoid slow down. Some apps might cache in the memory when boot up.
BB). The same is in the Windows, the only different is most of the windows partition in single partition and typical PC has 300GB -500GB of harddisk space compare to 16GB flash memory in Android box. Those apps without "uninstall" are factory install apps, you can only uninstall the apps you installed.
Hints : some of the app has option "move to SD", goto settings - more - apps - sd card.
CC). File partition is emulated your SD card, you store movies, backup APK files and etc. if you use Popcorn Time or P2p streaming apps, this partition is very important for staging of large movie file.
DD). Already mentioned in the getting started guide, always remain 200MB space for Kodi.
EE). Yes, I agreed with you some apps are more user friendly then Kodi, that is the reason we share in the skydrive. But please use it low profile to avoid blocking by local ISP. I do not publish those apps openly due to this.
