Hi Broz..may i know what is the major difference on kia cerato k3 1.6sx vs 2.0L

the price diff was almost 20k...???

offer that i got it for 1.6sx was RM6,580 but 2.0L is RM4,000 only??

Depends on whether you want power or save money. Sunroof in Malaysia is pointless. Leather seats you can do yourself for ~rm2K. Test drive both and decide.

I have test drive both.

1.6 kinda under power while 2.0 ok. if normal smooth use, then should be no problem.
both from stop to go got a little bit delay but 2.0 got power, so no problem.

SA offer 2.0L (coz I was looking for 2.0L)
1.) 4K + free tint voucher (worth RM800) + full tank + 1M4U no plate
2.) 2.7K + body kits + free tint voucher (worth RM800) + full tank + 1M4U no plate

i just done my test drive on 1.6sx..de power for me is ok..with full load of 5pax
SA offer 5k + tinted but another SA can give me better offer up to RM6,250..
2.0L only can rebate max 4k only..so diff will be 20k gap..
both also no free boykit n no free upgrade on leather seats...

the leather seats upgrade is just simply wrap on the existing fabric seats or whole new leather seat?

The spec difference between the 1.6 and 2.0 as follows :

1) Leather Seat with AC ventilation
(note that 1.6 does not come with seat ventilation)
2) Sun roof
3) HID Head lamp
4) Rear Spoiler
5) TFT Coloured LCD cluster Meter
6) 2.0 Engine of course

While I can't comment what other sources are giving, my leather seat package involves re-upholstering the entire seat and not just a wrapped-on leather cover. Attached is a photo of the finished product. Cheers.

What I mean is do the leather seats outside after getting your car. Of course you can specify the quality of leather you want and how you want it to be done.

If you feel the power is enough go for the 1.6SX. RM20K is a lot of money and with interest can become RM24K. The few differences in features not worth that much.

When people say underpowered it can be very subjective as it depends on personal expectation. Some also say 2.0L Sonata is very underpowered but when I drive it it's fine.

But I don't see much diff of Hp and torque for the 20k you spent on 2.0, so pandai pandai lah.

Cerato 1.6 is probably the most powerful NA 1.6 litre car in Msia. It doesn't feel underpowered until you reach a certain speed of course.

The 2.0 is obviously more powerful but if you feel the 1.6 is underpowered, maybe you're not driving it right or your expectation is too high.

The differences between the 2 are not worth 20k IMO. But clearly, if you need the power and do a lot of long highway journeys, the 2.0 will be a better choice.

of course if offering bodykit & leather seat , the discount will less .
some ppl prefer discount , some will choose gift package as no need to pening kepala to finding the sources to install .

usually i will offer both package for customer choose .

Have you tried a toyota 4AGE engine or a VTEC B16A or B16B engine? Above 165hp stock.

You will surprised if you think cerato 1.6 is the most powerful NA 1.6 litre car.

Sorry for my ignorance sir. Pls enlighten me which new cars have these engines so that I can go for a test drive.

I hope you are not talking about ancient cars which can only be bought 2nd hand since this is not the topic being discussed currently. Perhaps I should have added more caveats to what I said, but I do believe its correct in the context of the current discussion.

As far as I know, both Honda & Toyota don't sell 1.6 cars in Msia currently. I would be happy to stand corrected.

If I put the Cerato 1.6l in a scania truck, it is still a powerful 1.6l, but can it haul container trailers?

Consider the application, not just paper figures.

change the cerato kx rear light to the 2.0..kx punya ugly la..

Don't be a dumbfuck. I said most powerful 1.6L car not engine. The application is to drive the car. Taking out the engine to put in a truck and saying that it's underpowered is not the intended application.

My conclusion is based on actual application not paper figures. But your rhetoric is really idiotic.
