Cerato 1.6 is probably the most powerful NA 1.6 litre car in Msia. It doesn't feel underpowered until you reach a certain speed of course.

The 2.0 is obviously more powerful but if you feel the 1.6 is underpowered, maybe you're not driving it right or your expectation is too high.

The differences between the 2 are not worth 20k IMO. But clearly, if you need the power and do a lot of long highway journeys, the 2.0 will be a better choice.

Sorry for my ignorance sir. Pls enlighten me which new cars have these engines so that I can go for a test drive.

I hope you are not talking about ancient cars which can only be bought 2nd hand since this is not the topic being discussed currently. Perhaps I should have added more caveats to what I said, but I do believe its correct in the context of the current discussion. 

As far as I know, both Honda & Toyota don't sell 1.6 cars in Msia currently. I would be happy to stand corrected.
