I don't think so.
New card should be issued by UOB Malaysia from today onwards.

Just wonder how UOB Malaysia will integrate UOB CC and Citi CC, eg 2 credit limits to be merged.
*
I hope they dont merge the both CC limit. Otherwise, my limit will reduce drastically sad.gif

Also, I think Citi CC still exist even after merging, it is just they are now managed / owned by UOB. So UOB have 2 separate income.

There is no reason to wipe off Citi CC consumer market and force them to apply only UOB CC.

I wonder how they are going to solve duplicate. I got both bank saving account and cc.

btw, citibank only left 1 contest

p/s: found my answer:

What is my credit card limit if I own both Citi and UOB Credit Cards?
-
After the conversion of Citi Credit Cards to UOB Credit Cards, Citi customers who also hold UOB Credit Cards will have a combined credit limit of both cards. For example, a customer who holds a Citi Credit Card with a RM10,000 limit and a UOB Credit Card with a RM10,000 limit will have a new credit card limit of RM20,000. This is only applicable to consumer credit cards.

Do note that this is at the Bank's discretion in accordance with its governing policies and Bank Negara Malaysia guidelines. We will inform you ahead of time if there are any changes.

I have both Citi and UOB's Credit Card(s). Do I need to cancel my Citi Credit Card?
-
You do not need to cancel your Citi Credit Card. As the migration to UOB will not be immediate, you may continue to use both your UOB and Citi account(s) which will operate as usual.

When your Citi account(s) is migrated to UOB, you will be given prior notice before the migration commences.

Combined CL sounds not bad.

My application for add card is rejected even though I have like 76k CL for my CB card, I'm speechless. (Applied internally without submit doc)
*
Okay another update, yesterday I tried again to apply for reward MasterCard and this morning CS called me for verification already. She said I can get approval for 90% chance then I explained I got rejected before (not really rejected but in Citi email they said I no longer interested in this card ??🙄 which I'm not) .

Then she asked me whether I applied for CL increase less than 6 months? I said yes, then she knew why my application of additional card will be rejected because of CL increase in less than 6 months. Hope to provide some insight of my issue and pray hard my application will get through this time.

Applied twice through Ringgitplus too, after uploading relevant docs then straight reject on the spot say application not approved. Without any reason.
Anyone know is there any particular criteria Citibank look into while applying their credit card?
*
I think citibank no longer accept CC application in their website, maybe they'll stop it in ringgitplus too. I just managed to sub card to my fam yesterday, the agent said I must submit asap otherwise they no longer accept applications.
