My cancelled cards were immediately removed from Citi online, so probably you won't see it or login anymore if you don't have other Citibank cards.

technically, a card cannot be cancelled if it has outstanding balance.

When i cancel mine, the CS was like going thru the account to see if I have outstanding, then only he canceled it.
And the card only disappeared the next day, not immediately.

So based on your usages, is it still worth to keep the card? Otherwise, cancel first and reapply later for gift & 3-year AF free.

So far they waived for all my AF, currently third year holding their card, hopefully can be waived too in next month..

Hi, I'm terminated Citi card last year and I apply again today via Citi website after I put my IC number, it automatically rejects my application. So far no bad history with them or others bank, anyone has the same issues?

Wah, Citibank is really good, called me at this hour.

I live chatted with CS last Friday and expressed my wish to cancel my only Citibank card - Citi Premier Visa Signature due to AF and SST will be charged this month. He mentioned it cannot be cancelled right away because this card requires call back from an officer. I should expect a call within 3-5 working days.

So an officer just called and offered me waiver for another year (third year) and RM 25 cash rebate with just one transaction with no minimum amount by end of this month. I gladly accepted.

Though last year's offer was better, AF was waived and RM 50 cash rebate, I'm still thankful for this year's offer.

I also asked if I can replace my card to the new design, she said cannot and I will need to pay for it unless it's damaged, then it will be free for first time.

Sometimes I do wish they don't waive for me so that I can get some gifts.
Shouldn't be that difficult I guess, I got this card back in 2017 and already got two times waived with no question asked, first year was free.

Just received SMS from Citibank that my card is selected for annual fee waiver this year. This is aligned with what has been told to me two days ago. Cheers for another year with Citibank.

The higher the CL shown, the higher chance of get approved I PRESUMED.

For all my CC application, only Citi, HSBC & Aeon showed “Pending accepted by customer”. The rest all showed “approved”.

Btw, last time SCB showed temporary CL 350k during pending stage of my application.
