when i was a student... i'm working part time on weekend and holidays or even sem break  laugh.gif  those time.. really hard... kinda jelous see people hv lots of free time to spare.. while i was working during weekend. but really, custom rig is really save money a lot  brows.gif

anyway.. i wonder if any notebook these days is equip with xeon processor....  last i saw last time was MSI notebook.. it was 5 years ago sweat.gif

Yeah. I have to work hard in order to get some extra pocket money for gaming stuff. And it's very true that custom rig is far more cheaper. But still I'm saving up for the beast. Hopefully I would be able to buy one by next year.

Ya. R7 should be enough for him. That's why I hesitate if the GT920M enough for him. But don't know if he plays Assassin's Creed Unity. If he does, R7 sure not powerful enough for him also. biggrin.gif

Need some recommendation. Looking for a thin/light laptop, purpose is for portability, e.g going to fren house for dota/diablo 3 stuff like that(have a PC for heavy gaming), Budget less than RM 5k. screen size at least 15.6, main point is the weight and portability of the laptop

15.6"
if you want go for Illegear z5 for around 2.5kg... quite pretty decent notebook too.. can play various kind of game...
all and all, include os, it might be around 4.5k. best bangs for bucks + good warranty service

unless you want below 4k...
then few notebook you can choose. even can pick acer v nitro black edition, asus rog.. less than 3.8k.. safe more money... since you already have pc for heavy gaming..

Well, depends. Are you going to save a lot of big files? if so best is to get an external hard disk as SSD usually comes in small capacity to reduce overall cost.

And believe me when i say this when you tried SSD you'll never go back to HDD. Trust me on this.

SSD would open you MS Excel files faster even if it is a big file.
