Been using my GT640M in my Y480 for almost 3 years, still can run games in med settings. I suppose GTX850M can do better. thumbup.gif

I think u heading wrong direction... its all depends on how u use it... if u mainly for game then it might phase out faster.. but normal usage even intel hd 5500 can last very long de... my fren using c2d to be video server..

Im am so close right now to place my order for dell 7447 (i5-4210H, 500GB, 4GB, NV GTX850M, W8.1), it suit my budget. Any thought/insight about the processor? Cant go for the i7 spec since it more than RM3k sweat.gif

3. Usage - NO GAMING, only for heavy graphics/multimedia works purpose: - 3D, 2D, video/photo/editing.. adobe softwares.. maya etc
4. Preferred laptop/screen size - not larger than 15.6

current laptop spec Lenovo Z400T i7, 12gb ram, NVIDIA GeForce GT645M.. 2 years dy
recently saw Msi Pe70.. macam yes, but
worth the upgrade? or stick with my current and get a custom PC instead? but no mobility :-(

Err.. those gtx gaming card.. u need quadro.. i do suggest u buy precision pc wif quadro card. K620 should be enuf...
