Considering a birthday gift for myself next month, would like to hear your inputs     

1. Preferred Brand : Any brands except Acer and Asus
2. Budget : RM 8k,  expandable depending on the offers on hand but will not hit 10k  .
3. Usage : Other than daily business work, it is mainly for gaming @ 1080p for most games as well as some minor photo-shop and video editing.
4. Preferred laptop/screen size : If possible, I really want a 15" but a 17" would still be considered as I travel frequently.
I am technically considering to get the illegear D5 or S5, but would like to see my options in the market.

3. Usage - work and running on some heavy simulation software for reservoir engineering.

4. Usage - slight casual gaming like COD, GTA, N4S, starcraft, fallout

a) 15" FHD
c) good to moderate battery life (not so choosy here around 3-4 hours on HD movies will be alright)
d) need it to be cool because I dont have the luxury to carry around my cooler at all times.
