Or invest a bit more and increase your budget to RM4K~ish and look at Cyberforge or Illegear.
I prefer Illegear but a bit pricey since the Z5 model has one hell of a cooling system  and good after sale service.

Or you cant wait. Then get the Acer but do check with the other thread if the newer model still can tweak the heat issue.

2. Budget - around rm3500, can top up a bit if worth it
3. Usage - Word, excel, general browsing/videos, Photoshop and perhaps the occasional indie game/football manager, otherwise no gaming.
4. Preferred
a) 13-14 inches
b) light weight as will be traveling often
c) good battery life.. Prefer last one whole working day.
d) good keyboard and  prefer metal build quality.. Need to last
e) 8gb ram and ssd

Was looking at the ux305, but unsure about the core m processor. Don't want the performance to drop in the future.
