Carl Z is the lens.CCD is the sensor.
These two are different things.

QUOTE(lokewh @ Jan 9 2008, 08:00 AM) I wonder why all photos taken by this camera phone is at Aperture f2.8 and ISO 50. Is it a standard exif they can show? I did experience diffferent Aperture F/5.6 I think this is the 1st camera phone that the aperture can be changed automatically. QUOTE(shockk @ Jan 9 2008, 09:53 AM) The 902 is using variable aperture. It will pre-set to F2.8 and F5.6. F5.6 mostly during bright environment, etc. But the ISO setting is rather problematic. I also keep experiencing it showing ISO 50 on the EXIF all the time even when I manually adjust the ISO. |

He's quite businessman type but main use phone to call and sms only, seldom use other functions, moreover he's OK with Nokia 2630 kind of function (which is also slow, haven't got it yet so it's either 902 or Nokia 2630) so apart from phonebook size the i902 is pretty much a plus for him. Slow is OK as long as call can jalan then ok le. |

Very nice pictures KTCY!
What's the exposure time on all these photos? I think need very steady hands right? Did you try ISO200 with EV-0.5~-1 (or even -2)? Should have the shutter operate in shorter time although noisier, I'm curious about the ISO performance as CCD normally has lower noise than CMOS. I didn't go hunt for the phone today as I only go Pavilion to play around with the Nokia set I'm looking at for my father, see which one is better. Going to hunt tomorrow at sg wang or lowyat hopefully some shop got la... EDIT: Just check the EXIF, 4 sec on ISO50, obviously ISO50 has very low noise but is it more than 4 sec shutter time?
