QUOTE(KTCY @ Jan 11 2008, 01:11 AM) Sorry but to disappoint you. Anything above ISO-50 seems got noise. I use attachment so that you can view it in full size mode as the photo reach 1.8MB. [attachmentid=376330] Thanks for the effort! Yeah I can see there're lots of noises, more than I thought in the first place... High ISO is important for capturing moving objects in the low light condition, and less chance for handshake too. It's not a battle of who has the highest ISO here, it's to know more about the camera performance so can choose the balanced setting. Although the result is noisy, the detail is still all there, maybe i-mobile didn't put any noise reduction algorithm or hardware chip at all? I can't read the EXIF too, when download by "save target to" all I get was only 700kb JPEG and the EXIF all lost...So dunno what's the ISO setting for the picture. Can you check check, KTCY? Just right click on the jpeg file, click Properties, click Summary tab and change to advance view if it's in simple mode.

I deleted the photo tho.

[attachmentid=376330] When I save your photo, it becomes a .bmp file with a size of 14.4MB!!!!! Above ISO 50, noise will definitely be there. That is why most of the time, this camera-phone take photos at ISO 50.

QUOTE(dragna @ Jan 11 2008, 09:02 AM) You must have selected the wrong option for save? It worked fine for me to JPEG. Well, I click to enlarge the photo on post # 1020. After that I right click and choose Save Picture As. The next pop up window only give me an option for .bmp file with filename as Untitled. Nevertheless, no Exif info on the photo.

KTCY, Don't get so hot up on the Exif info. That info is secondary. What I am surprised is that when I save the photo, it becomes a .bmp file with a file size of 14.4MB
