Just read through about UOB one card & VOX card.
There is no minimum transaction/swipe per month to entitle this benefit right?

I tot UOB VOX card can offer more benefit compare with cimb card?

Better in some aspects.

Pros:
i) No cross border. Nobody has reported so far for this. I think UOB doesn't have.
ii) Pure RM 50 cash back for online transactions
iii) Cash rebate for TM. (Yeay!)
iv) Cash rebate for flight tickets.
v) 5.3% cash rebate it seems.

Cons:
i) Only online transactions above RM 50 are entitled for cash rebate
ii) Slow posting of cash rebate
iii) AF based on monthly basis, need to have at least one swipe or pay for RM 6 per month

In term of online rebate, CIMB, there is only online rebate up to RM30 (RM600 spending) while UOB can be up to RM50 rebate

However, minimum spend on UOB VOX is RM50 and above to be entitled for cash rebate

Requote back my previous post. I have both and did a simple comparison.
Anyway, you can ignore the cons point 2. UOB has fixed that and it is now every month's 28-29th, I can see it.

I am a little confused because I fulfilled their age, income requirement and provided all requested documents, still they reject me without telling me the reason. Called several times to CS all give me the same answer..
Say that management will not state the reasons.. I have the right to know right? Where I did wrong?

Hi, I am kinda new here..
After reading your threads, I decided to apply for VOX credit card last month.
After waiting for 3 weeks, I called CS and was told that it was rejected. 
I have no finance history and this was my first card.
Any idea why it was rejected? Please?

But I fulfilled all their requirements..sigh~

I just called CS for the last time, lucky this time the CS was rather helpful compared to others.
She said she will pass this matter to the higher ups and that they will call back shortly.
If no calls until tomorrow, I will email UOB then BNM.
Hope it can be settled soon..

Side note : Management ain't supposed to give you a reason why you got rejected.

So, either you look elsewhere or prepare to throw money for their FD so that they will consider you as high networth individual and offer you plenty of cards

Or you can write a very nice appeal letter, attach together your CCRIS report / payment record for related stuffs such as telco or whatever that shows that you are a good paymaster and any other supporting documents to show that you have other income other than just employment.

I just received a call that says the exact same thing..management will not reveal the reasons.
Should I really email BNM? I doubt UOB or BNM will give a minute of their time about this.

You can get your CCRIS from Bank Negara Malaysia.

None of the banks will reveal the reason.

Honestly, I will say this.

Don't waste your time.

If you met the requirements already, try to get something like HLB Mach / CIMB CR which has 1h application approval, build your credit scores 1st and then reapply in the future.

Go to the HLB Mach center (Pavi/Midvalley/etc), for CIMB, it's the Credit Card Center.

Nope. Walk in to certain branches.
CIMB, you can walk in to KLCC, Sunway Pyramid.
MACH, you can walk in to Gardens, Pavilion and Paradigm Mall.

All these places have 1 hour approval.
