I am not sure what is meant by a fuse leaking as it was reported by the service adviser. I guess a fuse in the UEC box has leaked which cause the air-cond to be not cold. After the replacement of the UEC box, the old (damaged) UEC box was left on the table for me to have a look. It's quite big and heavy, about the size of a large lunchbox. I was asked whether I wanted to keep it but I told the guy to have it thrown away since it is of no use to me.

If the air-conditioner of you car is cold at night, chances are it's working fine. Perhaps gas is running out if it's not cold in the day due to hot sun. In my case the air-cond is just blowing warm (room temperature) air so it's not cold at all conditions.

Noted a small screw stuck on my rear wheel last Sunday. Went to a shop to repair the puncture today. Surprised to see the extent of wear on the thread and the thickness is the same as the wear indicator. My car is 4 yrs old now with 47000 km only. I rotated the tyres once and surprised that the rear tyre can wear out so fast. Front tyres are not as bad. Maybe due to wheel alignment problem.

Daiso and Mr DIY may have the CR1620 battery in stock but in my case, all the supermarkets, 7-Eleven and Aeon Big which are near to my workplace all do not have the battery in stock. So in this sense i can say the battery is rare because all these supermarkets and 7-Eleven have the CR20xx batteries in stock. Battery shops will have CR1620 but at the time the remote stopped working, it is already about 8.00pm so most of the battery shops are already closed.

Anyway, a change of topic. After more than 5 years, the car is starting to show a harsher ride in the sense the suspension is now noisier as there are loud noises such as a "clunk" or "thud" sound when going over uneven road surfaces or a bump. The suspension also feels softer and not as firm as before when new. Other than the wear of the suspension and deterioration of NVH (the car is noisier now), everything else is fine. Turbo power is still good and the car still drives good. Initially I have plans to sell this Preve Turbo for the new Proton SUV but after looking at the price (>RM100k) I decided to call it off. Will just drive the car for 2 or 3 more years and by that time might just for the next-generation Mazda 3 or Ford Focus models. (although I already have the Ford Focus albeit an Mk3).

Rm240 for engine mounts TCA brand from Lazada.

RM160 for labour. Normal workshop.

The 2 heavy mount with silver colour are still ok.

But the other two black colour mounts not good already.

My viper fluid nozzle gets blocked all the time.

Asked about the blockage a while ago, go advised to use a sewing needle to unblock it. The trick worked.

But then after a few days, it gets block again. I don't work/live in a overly dusty area, so I dont understand why it keeps happening.

i am changing today, about 590 for timing belt and fead belt. water pump didn't change. my car only 75K KM and 5 years 3 months

i can hear abit pulley noise even after changing engine mounting ,so i decided to change it.
