Hi all, did some research on SP3 heating issue. Apparently, i3 doesn't seem to have much heating issue in compared to i5 and i7 and fan doesn't kicks in often. Any i3 users can confirm about this? Microsoft Edge crash a lot? That's not good man. Hope they will fix it in upcoming updates.

I think FM should be playable especially older editions. It has been a while since I last played any FM but based on the response it is actually playable.

But the experience might not be the same due to screen size. Plus the heat, you might want to monitor that. If gaming is the main reason you are looking for Surface, you might want to reconsider your purchase.

And I think FIFA is out of question already.

Yes, i3 fans doesn't kick in quite as often simply because it is a lower performance thus generating less heat.

I don't faced any crash with my Edge so far...

I'm also looking for sp3, the cheapest I can found in lazada, but not sure is it trustworthy. Some lowyat pc store like viewnet do have 10% discount, even most of the aeon also have 10% discount.

As far as I can recall, FM also has 3D graphics nowadays... that's what makes me not so sure...

and also, you mentioned "football simulator" which means it's CPU intensive. pretty sure even i3 can execute the calculations without no problems but will the cooling be adequate is another story.

combined both CPU and GPU task? well, you should know what kind of heat we could be dealing with...

Anyone know if we can set the Windows 10 on the SP3 to open an APP whenever I boot up and login?

I am using the Minima List app as a to-do checklist so that it will open the app for me to check what to do and what already done everytime I boot up my SP3 and login to Windows 10.

Any idea?

mmmmmmmmmmm................don't understand la !!!

just place a shortcut to the application inside the startup folder and the application will launch every time your SP3 is booted up.

If you need more advance config when the application to be launched, you'll need Task Scheduler.

So who have updated to Windows 10 with their S3 and SP3? Whats the feedback?
