Argghh you poisoning me fruitie!!
*
Nothing to poison la. laugh.gif

My router is an old and super cheap router, bought back in 2012 for RM 80 I think. Bought for wireless broadband purpose and it still rocks so well. tongue.gif

Thought it won't serve anymore purpose after I switched to UniFi, looks like it hasn't given up on me. laugh.gif

What router u use? U maintain the stock router for hypptv or not
*
TP Link MR3420. laugh.gif
I don't even have the decoder for HyppTV, the damned contractor still owes me until today. mad.gif
I don't have a TV in my little room, so didn't really bother yet. One fine day, I will visit TM Point to file a case for missing decoder.

Yes, I still have the router, still need it because my own router is just an AP.

Are you guys able to log in to your unifi account in tm.com.my?

I keep getting session expired once I log in and get booted out to login page. Anyone facing this problem?
*
No issue from my end. smile.gif

However, I cannot view "My Bill".

If i not mistaken, what tm promise only on wired. I agreed that maybe this crap router has a wireless performance issue, but inside the Terms and Condition already stated that TM only promise wired. so if you want better wireless performance, go for dual band..
*
Yes but it's OK, I have another Wireless N router. tongue.gif Solves all my issues, cruising at full speed now. tongue.gif

I have rented a 2-storey house(B) directly opposite my house(A) to use as my home office. The 2 houses are separated by a 20ft wide road. Currently I have vip10 installed. How can I share my VIP10(& phone) across the road? Distance from Point-to-point is ~120ft.
*
Get a router with strong WiFi transmittance. tongue.gif

I am sharing Unifi (VIP 5) with other housemates, any idea why when during night I ping to router (default gateway) and the ping is always request time out?

I restart the routher, it is ok for first 15 minutes or maybe lesser, then start like this again.

Problems occured on my laptop as well as mobile.

Any SiFu have solution?

Is it because of some heavy users?
*
How many users are using?

Are they heavy users?

Even 5Mbps for one user is not enough already... sweat.gif

To be honest, I am not sure, just move in here.

But I see router page only have 3 to 4 connections (include me).

I just curious why ping to the modem is always request time out, or even 100ms to 3000ms. doh.gif

But if no request time out, which mean around 1 to 3ms, the surfing is smooth.
*
Get your own connection. sweat.gif

That's the reason why my housemate wanted to share with me when she knew I had installed UniFi VIP5, that time. I told her, it's OK... Don't want to share... sweat.gif
Now using 30Mbps alone also not sharing. laugh.gif

I don't like my connection to be slowed down. laugh.gif

I see. But need to ask owner as well isn't?

Somemore Unifi is stick with 2 year contract right?
*
Yeah, 2 years contract.

If you are not a heavy user, can always get a wireless broadband. More flexible to use it everywhere you like. smile.gif

For gaming which one you suggest?

I am thinking to get one wireless BB but I am afraid the signal is not good as I am living in apartment.
*
If gaming, then need good ping. You will need fixed broadband.

Did they send you any notification (SMS or email) to ask you to restart your modem to upgrade to 30Mbps?
I am waiting for mine to be upgraded as well
*
You will receive SMS for HyppTV activation (assuming you take up new HyppTV package), that means your 30Mbps is also activated. You will also receive email after that. At least that was what happened to me 3 days ago. smile.gif
