Marimo Land begins construction of 718-unit condominium in Bandar Puchong Jaya

PETALING JAYA (Nov 21): Marimo Land Malaysia Sdn Bhd has signed an agreement with building contractors E&J Group, Ecobuilt (M) Sdn Bhd and Pembinaan Infra E&J Sdn Bhd to build 718 units of premier freehold condominiums at Japan Pipit in Bandar Puchong Jaya, Selangor.

Marimo Land Malaysia is a joint-venture company set up by Marimo Co Ltd president Makoto Fukagawa and Marimo Land CEO John Taro.

The parties held a signing ceremony and a ground-breaking ceremony yesterday (Nov 20) to kick start the condominium project dubbed O’hako Residensi.

Sitting on a 4.25-acre freehold site, O’hako Residensi comprises Tower A and Tower B which house 359 units each. The units are priced from RM430,000 to RM630,000 with built-up areas from 850 sq ft to 1000 sq ft. This works out to RM500 to RM600 psf. Both towers will be completed by December 2019.

Tower A has been 90% taken up while the units in Tower B are 60% sold.

In a statement following the event yesterday, Taro said O’hako Residensi is situated on a strategic and highly accessible location that is just two minutes away from the Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus and less than 10 minutes away from the Puchong Jaya township, Sunway Pyramid and IOI Mall.

“O’hako Residensi is located on Jalan Pipit in Bandar Puchong Jaya. The location is a hidden gem along the Klang River, connecting Subang Jaya and Petaling Jaya. It is also where Puchong Jaya can be the next Mont’Kiara,” he added.

About one-third of the site is for greenery and outdoor facilities, such as jogging and cycling tracks, a skating ramp and a tree house. Other facilities include a gym, art lounge, floating wedding stage and a multipurpose space.

“O’hako is the answer to Malaysia’s expanding taste for higher standards of living that are stylish and yet meet expectations of comfort and accessibility,” said Taro.

He noted that the development will bring together the spirit of innovation, technology, tradition and Japanese culture, thus creating homes that are warm, welcoming and luxurious.

He added that Marimo Land had contributed more than RM2 million for improving the riverside, including building a bridge and upgrading the access roads around the area.

Which bridge is he referring? Is this the one that will link Puchong Jaya to Taylor's Lakeside?

Marimo Land Malaysia Sdn Bhd is signs an agreement with main contractors to mark the commencing of the construction work of its Lifestyle Condominium with the Gross Development Value (GDV) of RM400mn.

Marimo is a highly reputable and experienced Japanese developer which has completed more than 330 condominiums in Japan and other countries, including China and the Philippines.

Made up of two towers, the ceremony also launched the sale of units in Tower B with 60% already booked, after the highly successful sale of its Tower A, which is already 90% sold.

not facing... lol... the one facing is twinz... ohako is located nearer but no unit direct facing cemetery at all...

lol 15 acres bro, 540/sf (this isn't cheap tbh) with walking distance to kubur.
15 acres is large like a township... ppl still bbb?

think so... block A mostly sold out... now block B selling... but location is nice in puchong itself... freehold... 540 psf kenot cari liao... lol... not walking distance la... haha... bcuz need cross river... so swimming distance... biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

I believe PJS5 also affected by this cemetry? The Pjcc is a sinking boat.. + kubur view=Titanic? gg PJ south... apax2 rubbish ppl unacceptable can throw over here, and it's very welcoming zzz.

erm... frankly speaking... buyers of this project... not much investors... personally... its not really good for renting to students also la... they have so much options nearby them... haha... for own stay one... this project freehold, the unique concept and the bridge link ba... i dun think is gila la... if i have the loan quota... i will get one unit here also... in term of condos for now... i am quite okay with this project...

hybrid lo... haha... own stay come first maybe la... still the point is... unless u search for it... u cant see the cemetery la... thats my personal view only... ppl still have options geh... some ppl saw bukit jalil thousand of thousands units at much expensive price... they still buy in ma... this one lower density, freehold, bridge to sunway, cemetery view cant see due to orientation...

When i sign the SPA, there was a family ( 2 sisters ) bought 1 each.... hmm... so depends de lor... as long as you are happy ....till now I do not see the cemetery

Bro u know abt pjs5 Aera residence? Selling dirt cheap....but I think the price included of largest cemetery that located in pjs4 aka taman medan...

their orientation... the facing is either facing facilities or facing sunway or facing puchong... the cemetery is at the sunway side kampung area... still... if a condo directly facing cemetery and leasehold... the price will jump down significantly... ohako is just have a feel but u cant look....

i didn't really check up that project... if perform site visit... they will know... just like the buyers who performed site visit to this project... they made up their mind on it... haha...
