Apparently, last weekend the lawyers had no choice but to give a copy of the SPA when purchasers forced them.

Some of my friends tried asking for it this week, developer is no longer budging.

Purchasers, please exercise your rights! Get your photocopied SPA ASAP!

My friends bought it for investment.

Btw, please check this SPA is under HDA protection or not.

Really didn't have any reason to do another SPA in 2 month later since they already get the APDL that can sign the SPA immediately.
IF they collected 10%, they have to bank in the payment (and all other payment related to SPA price) they collect to HDA account.
Withdraw from HDA account have to follow T&C and the banked-in amount should tally with the report on unit they sold...
plus now KPKT asking developer to send the HDA account statement on monthly basis, so they should easily to trace if the HDA account got any problem...

Saw you are asking this case in property Q&A sub-forum, really do homework before shooting ah.... brows.gif
I even saw buyer signing blank SPA as instruct by lawyer/developer due to they didn't have any purchase property experience....

The reason is very obvious. Think everyone! Think!

Otherwise why would he suddenly ask purchasers to come and sign SPA and only to tell them that it is DRAFT, cannot initial on each page bla bla bla.

Those reasons only point to one thing smile.gif

Totally agree with you Mr. mroys.

A lot of first time buyers apparently, thats why they bodoh2 sign as per lawyers instruction. Not knowing that they are required to initial on every single page in the SPA.

The one's complaining are the seasoned purchasers or those who are buying their 2nd property.

My million dollar question is this :-

How come the lawyers are willing to do this even though they know this is not right? 知法犯法!!!


My friends made inquiries with the Bar Council, and they were advised to report this incident. They gladly did.

We shall see what happens to those two law firms (MXXXXXX XXXX X XXX and IXXX XXXXX XXX & XXX ) after this.

There is actually such thing called draft SPA which requires purchasers to sign at the last page and pay the balance down payment
