the DIN number is mentioned there

Looks like most VW models are DIN66 except for touareg, which is a DIN100

Had a creaking door noise and went to the nearest VW, thats the one in TTDI. After 2 visit, and for today i have been made to wait for 1 hour to be told - your car door is misaligned and was not purchased here, you should go back to the dealership you bought it from - which is sg besi.

i asked this is not VW? He said yeah but different company(of coz lah .. duh!) and if i insist to have it repaired there, i will be charged for it. so its better for me to go back to sg besi

called the sales guy, he said i can walk in to any vw sc. then i called vgw to ask, was told the same and they gonna check and bla bla bla

Do at your own risk, but they also need reasonable reason to void your warranty.  Example, they cannot void your gearbox warranty if you're cutting wires for your head unit CD player.
*
actually they can ... but some say they wont ...

again ... do it at ur own risk lo

most of the suspension is covered, it was mentioned on their policy since day 1
absorbers are not covered but other items like bush is covered
They never mention differences between 1-2 year & 3-5 year

Just read tru it, says that wiper is not covered - but my wiper was not able to wipe properly and was mentioned to the sales guy - he say cannot do anything, which i told him its less than a month old ... he says normal as the cars parked under the sun in car yard

he then changed mine with one from the show room car, but still same issue - then bout 2 weeks ago went back for the door issue - i made the complaint, they say they applied some silicon shit thingy and told me to monitor

i am going back tommorow for the door issue, and yeah the wiper issue still there - i am gonna shout at someone hahahahaha

*
oh yeah i saw the promo on their website .. the cc is included ...

this promo is good for new owners, but its killing the existing owners, the car they are driving ... the resell value down longkang edy ... as if the current resell value is not bad enough ... and also the diesel emission scandal ...

buy only if you really like the VW/Conti driving experience

diesel emission scandal didnot affected Malaysia la!

the scandal only affected with diesel engine not into Petrol car la!
anyway VW in Malaysia still safe to drive

In fact there is no diesel variant of their TDI engines, which we would love...

Yeah it has no impact to us, as in our engines - but i dont really give a hoot bout the NO2 emissions ...

The only effects are the resell value ... their stock also dropped 20%, our cars leh? hahaha

so yeah it does affect us lo...

towar not sure why suddenly you are trolling in this thread, you should have a better knowledge in car engine combustion, petrol engine does not produce the amount of nitrogen oxide as as much as diesel engines, its not an issue on petrol engines, as it burns cleaner - hence cars in Malaysia is not an issue

are you driving a diesel vw? do you own one? if not, move along yo

and i have reported you

wow! it's amazing to see people bashing VW because of its diesel emission scandal. It go through all the way to, their petrol engine also a cheat, their safety etc... is that bad???? why????

i think every manufacturer will have some sort of this "dirty games" be it toyota, honda, even BMW.

you are right! until you have been caught!! its just a matter of time.

vw is the cheapest conti car ... bash coz they likely cannot afford bigger car ... hence ... bash lah apa lagi

Guys, my PASSAT CC's under carriage/skid plate or whatever you call it got scrapped off when I went through a huge bump with full passenger load. So I was thinking of installing this in the link below. Do you guys think it's a good idea or I should just replace with the original skid plate which cost RM180 quoted by VW Glenmarie?

bro from ur pic, i assume the part is in the right mid section

the orsen shield, is for front undercover only ... from the front of ur bumper all the way to the mid engine bay area only, its not for the entire elngth of the car
