man you got some big balls bro. Any upgrades on your brakes? With great power, comes with great responsibility. I personally went 228km/hr max on NKVE only
Went to Quattro to install my 9w7 bluetooth kit last minute yesterday. The technician of Quattro, Mr KC was kind enough to fix it for me even though i was late and he was tight on schedule. All done for only RM150. Will definitely return to them if I am doing anymore mods on my passat cc
They just need to configure it n enable the bluetooth function? Ur player is stock?
They install the microphone on the top compartment near the lights then install the 9w7 under the driver's seat. Then did some code programming with vagcom and its done. I didn't stay back and watch them install cuz went out to eat my dinner. All in all, was satisfied as I don't have to use AUX to play music anymore. Using the cable is so messy and inconvenient, most importantly can answer calls through Bluetooth now

I am currently looking to buy a used Golf TSI Mk6. I would like to seek some valuable advice from current Golf owners about the details of the car (e.g. maintenance costs, overall drive quality). I mean, do you recommend getting this car?
Any responses will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks~!
If can, get the golf gti mk6 instead bro. More fun and less worries
Hi all, I really need opinion for 2.0 rocco owner.. Any one facing problem for dsg 6 speed or 1.4 rocco 7 speed? I still considering to buy one
like most of us would suggest, take 2.0 with 6 speed instead of the 1.4 with 7speed. The rocco with 1.4TSI comes with supercharger and turbocharger which is too stressful on the engine considering our hot climate here.
Hi all forumer/owner, please recommend me mechanic or workshop for vw not service center because warranty over d..
help appreciated.. dont recommend cut head place, not much budget in 1st place thats why wont be going vw service center
Well if you state your location, it would be easier for us to recommend you a workshop. No point recommending a workshop in seremban if you're from Shah Alam right?
Anyway, if you're from subang, I heard TERMINAL R is quite popular for vw cars
Those looking for a good service centre in KLANG specialised in VW, Audi and Mercedes Benz can head to JJ Auto. The owner used to work as Manager at Volkswagen CNB Auto Bukit Tinggi and he's very knowledgeable in VW cars. His workshop is very new and still haven't register for GST. So, I manage to change my rear brake pads at RM360 and RM40 for labour without paying GST
Address: JJ AUTO 109 Jalan Batu Unjur 8, Bayu Perdana, 41200, Klang, Selangor

Changed mine to century marathoner for rm300 plus. Then went to claim warranty at sc and was honest to the manager, told him I just changed battery outside. No issues
Did you buy the 9w7 on your own, or did the RM150 include everything (install + bluetooth unit)? If not supplied, where did you get your 9w7 from?
bought the 9w7 from ebay australia bro. But I believe you can get it cheaper at taobao. Then I went to Quattro and let them install for RM150 as workmanship. If you are not familiar with taobao then you can get from TS or maybe get at china if you ever dropby there
Hi guys, I'm currently looking to get a VW, budget under 90k. So it's either a brand new CKD Polo, or a second hand Mk6 Golf. Which one would you guys recommend? Need some advice from the VW sifus here...
If possible, avoid the 1.4TSI with 7DSG as it is prone to problems later on. But if you insist, I think you can get the 2014 Jetta at 90k which is still under warranty. Any problem you can F the SC upside down
Are you required to bring to SC to recalibrate after changing battery outside?
I think it depends on how the foreman change your battery. If he jump start your car first and leave the engine on before changing the battery, you do not need to bring your car to SC to recalibrate. But if he just plug out your car battery terminal and change the battery without jump starting, I guess you have to do some setting with SC.
Just to share my experience when I change my battery outside, I opt for century then the guy just changed it without jump starting. It was fine for the first few days until some lights start appearing in my dashboard like ABS etc. Then I sent it to SC told them I just changed battery but weird lights start popping out. They changed my sensor under warranty and did some setting and it was good to drive already.
Jackofree what sensor did you change? I changed the battery on my Polo myself but did not run into any issues after.
I dont really remember man as it was a year ago. I think it is the ABS sensor if I am not wrong. Another possible scenario is that my sensor was probably ''due to fail'' then just so when I change the battery, it kaput-ed
Quattro nowadays don't want to do installation - I sent a few guys there to install their BT kits, and they've started to give a variety of reasons to not install there.
I got a quote from a regular mechanic for RM600 to install. I straight away rejected it and went quattro even though it is far away
Hmm this was my worry too. If the car battery is already flat, then no choice have to change and go sc calibrate. So better to change when it's 'feels' right.... Thanks for the heads up.
My advice is just change outside, dont let SC cut your throat bro
Forgot to mentioned.. Christmas week, I had a check engine light on. Went to sc, was told that it was the charcoal canister... Changed it for rm599. Sigh. not inclusive of its other parts and labour.
small tip for you brah, if its not covered in warranty at SC, just go change at your regular conti mechanic. If you do not know any conti mechanic, state your location here and forumers here will recommend you
Hmm.. I haven't considered a Jetta actually. May I ask, is the dashboard and door panels on the Jetta made from soft-touch materials and not hard plastics? Haven't seen a Jetta up close before this
I got the Jetta for a week as courtesy car. The interior is abit dull and boring. If I'm not wrong, it's hard plastic bro. But compared to the Passat, it is less prone to rattling. Overall, the performance will put a smile in your face
