Hi everyone. I registered 3 lines for the rm38 3gb+3gb. 2 phones that support 4g and 1 using 3g. The 2 phones with 4g support has data usage charges but the 3g phone has no data charges.. anyone having same problem?

Try register at Celcom OCS - https://www.celcom.com.my/onlinecustomerservice/account

To see what exactly the charges are, maybe the WAP and SCAM thing.

Currently using the Celcom Basic 38, and I noticed that my signal keep changing between 3G and H. Is there any difference between 3G and H for Celcom? I noticed that my battery seems to be draining due to this constant change

That's 'fast dormancy', you can search on this for more information. Basically when there's no network activity it will switch back to 3G (UMTS) and when there's activity, it will switch back to H (HSPA).

There's 2 cases. Either its Fast Dormancy or celcom network is being celaka. For me, most of the time it's the 2nd option. Got 4 out of 5 bar of H+ signal but suddenly can run into H or 3G with no signal. What's worse I have to rely on data everyday as I have no WiFi during weekdays. No matter where I go, I'll be seeing the network constantly switching between H+/H/3G. And for H and 3G, completely useless modes. Cannot even browse anything at all. It's like using at the speed of Edge. The only time I really enjoy celcom network is when I'm near their base station. Because that's when I'm getting full bar H+ all the time. Never got switch issues and FD will kick in perfectly. But let's face it la, not everytime I'll be camping at their base station. Gonna drop this beloved plan for other telco offers.

or, get a phone that supports 4g. My experience with 3g and H+ is that when its idle then 3g, surf then H+(which is normal for fast dormancy), but the thing is, the time needed for H+ to kickin is seriously slow doh.gif However, after I've got a 4g phone then all is unsure.gif unsure.gif whistling.gif brows.gif

tbh, rather than battery drain, I'm having a better battery life instead compared to my umobile line which has h+ throughout the day but it seems to drain a lot more battery instead

Call celcom and terminate all extra services. Even tho its not their fault, they have the power to stop it.

i was from maxis and after i ported to celcom, i found that the LTE coverage for celcom sucks.

Back then even in kampung area like Kluang, and my house in damansara can get LTE easily with maxis. But after i ported to celcom, only office area has LTE.

Can we even complain about this?

well, every telco is spotty in one place or the other, so I just choose the telco that is good for the places that I stay/visit often(home, office)

different area different coverage. if u have coverage but get drop calls, then u can complain all you want. but if the area mmg no coverage, complain also no use

I was from Maxis as well before jump ship but I bought XPax to try out Celcom 4G coverage for 1 week before jump ship.....I also tried Digi but Celcom is better....My office Maxis no line at all due to surrounding by concrete wall but Celcom can get 3G and H+ (sometime) so I jump ship lo.....

Highly advise to try out using prepaid before jump ship......

Can you stop this postpaid plan by not paying as you don't use it anymore? Or still have to go to the outlet to terminate?
