go OCS.

download all the bills.

print out list of all your payments - to tally with the bill, as supporting document that the bills you have is true and not fabricated.

the overview page as well as it list all individual services (voicemail, wifi, data, itemised bill, voice/sms roaming, data roaming) under your number.

only strike when you have collected enough facts.

or go counter, deal human-to-human face-to-face.

i'm not sure about "new international roaming", but if "IR ON", you'll see it in overview and also "International Data Roaming" checbox will be "activated".

we still pay RM79 + GST forever

Oh, I must have read it wrong somewhere else.

Thanks for the clarification.

if register before deadline, pay RM79+ only once, then no need to pay anymore, forever after.

Previously called Celcom regarding RM45 First Blue(used 1 year plus d) plan promotion, 5gb weekday internet + 5GB weekend internet.
Will last till December 2016. This month they still give me 5gb instead of 2gb again.....is this going to be long term?
*
The promo for FiRST Basic 38 to switch to FiRST Blue 45 is time-limited.

But the upgraded entitlement of FiRST Blue 45 itself is "permanent" until either Celcom decide to replace entitlements or you decide to terminate (MNP, switch to another plan, or stop altogether), whichver comes first.

call them. ask if your umber is listed to upgrade from 38 to 45 (5+5).

particular stress on the 5GB weekday + 5GB weekend.
because out there, the current rate plan is only Blue II (2GB anyday +1GB carry), a lesser offer which you can also "upgrade" to.

so be damn sure which Blue is being offered to you before agreeing.

Just call 1111, talk to the operator, he said if not received sms cannot upgrade. Only for selected customer.

Customer service 404 doh.gif

Ask the period, only until 31hb. So if until 31hb still not received sms, I plan to migrate to other telco. Maybe option left to maxis due to digi and umobile not strong enough coverage.

*
probably, because so many people have pretended to "have received but lost it". the game is up.

this "unlimited" vpn is a misunderstood concept. LOL everytime newbie anyone wants to use unlimited vpn over metered network, thinking they'll be fooling tricking their isp into giving unlimited as well.

it does not matter if your vpn provider allow you to have unlimited metered traffic from their server.

celcom - or maxis, or digi, or tm, or time - meters you by the raw network traffic, both upload and download.

even if you're browsing 100kb uncompressed webpage via unlimited-bandwidth vpn tunnel set up over celcom network, celcom will meter you for that 100kb + vpn headers + misc negotiations happening to and fro.

But kenot diskas here

can discuss. no one is stopping you.

but i am telling you that the network is metered by raw bytes, both in and out. the vpn traffic itself is constituted by raw bytes.

it's like trying to trick a water meter by flowing ribena in instead of plain water.

Korek but if the plan is unlimited like fb unlimited n vpn route all the trafik to that plan, it'll be unlimited

That's the unlimited that ayamxxx refer to...
*
.... and what makes you think you'll be able to trick the ISP's network router into thinking your VPN server is reachable a-la turn-left via "facebook" unlimited path instead of a-la turn-right through plain world wide web limited path?

network routing does not work that way.

the ISP would have identified which server IP belongs to "facebook", and only those IP are routed via the "unlimited" path.

so unless your VPN server belongs in those list of "facebook" IP qualified for routing through unlimited path, good luck.

and don't limit yourself to "facebook"; you can quote "youtube" unlimited, "twitter" unlimited, "whatsapp" unlimited, .... they all still work the same.

LOL after i read about EHI and http injector.

really?

pages of google result just for noobs to describe an ancient knowledge in network administrators' handbook.

edit: i'm not putting you down with "noob". but that is just it. it's nothing new to shout about. just that the knowledge is now packaged nicely with GUI.

----

that "free internet" in what you describe is "free" as in no firewall stopping you dead in your track, no restriction on where you want to go.

it does not mean "free" as in unmetered bandwidth allocation.

it still won't trick routers into going unlimited left when it's configured to go to limited right.

and still does not solve "trying to trick water meter by flowing ribena in instead of plain water".
