Calibrate IMU right after you start up Phantom. But not after a flight or so. SOme resorted keeping their phantom inside refrigerator  rclxms.gif , but I normally placed mine inside a cool room before calibrating mine.

No need to care about room temperature?
will the warm up become longer after IMU because temp high?

I just calibrate my IMU at room temperature. Normally warm up will reduce significantly after calibrating. Don't forget to restart Phantom after calibration.

Hi guys,

Finally got my hand on Advanced model plus 1 extra battery today.
Now studying very hard the manual and all the materials supplied.

Checked for any missing parts or dents but of course there are none .
Hopefully can try out tomorrow.

Anyone can recommend a backpack costing less than RM200.00?

Thanks...

If can, extra bind 450mm set outside.... rclxm9.gif under 300 if possible

Just let Phantom hover for a while after you takeoff just to see if everything is good. no erratic behavior, stable gps, drifting etc. I made a rookie mistake when I bought my replacement P3A. Though it was super stable right from the factory. First flight, takeoff from a windy hill, compass error occured right after that and having a hard time bringing it close because gps was disable and flying in Atti.

After a while, try to fly in Atti mode. Will help a lot in an event of GPS related problems.

Total I got 2~3 times IMU, because seen nothing diff doh.gif
My quad are work well..but I only fly 30m height about 50m away. so far no serious drifting or not hover in place.

GPS work well to. max can get 13 gps at open area.

And I didt upgrade the firmware to avoid common P3s problem.

DO you experience DJI Naza Lite controller?
Because I got a DIY quad but got problem with it.

If no erratic behaviour occurs when hovering, IMU is good. No need to recalibrate unless after fw updates.

Sorry no experience with Naza, only APM, Naze and CC3D tongue.gif

Hi guys, a friend of mine bought a basic. He's an apple fan. So his phone, tablet etc are all Apple. Cut the story short, his iPhone 6s wifi range is quite short. 200meters distance. Whereas my s7 gets to almost 400m. He even bought an extender for that.
Any ways to fix this issue without buying new ones?

Btw if youre looking for a microsd, do checkout my siggy.

Does the flying distance depends on phone wifi range? i tot its only depends on the RC antenna hmm.gif hhmm.... anyone can share some lights on this?

Fine. I fix the Naza-M Lite problem and it fly...working well.

But how to fix the P3S signal problem.

In straight line slow fly forward. the FPV screen(phone) losing signal。
How to solve. My Phantom still stock FW not yet upgrade any FW.

I will prefer not upgrade, because 9/10 at DJI forum meet upgraded lose more signal

Where do you fly? In crowded areas, p3s range could be affected by other wifi. And what device are u using as fpv?
