Donald Trump has won all his challenges to be the presidential nominee for the Republicans. This uncertainty is adding to Wall Street worries, hence the Dow performance since last night.

Yup... if Trump wins US Presidential election later.. then watch out. Here comes the 2nd recession. sweat.gif

the fire in canada is pushing crude price higher.

this is supposedly 1 hr ago:

QUOTE
A massive wildfire near Fort McMurray in Alberta, Canada, that has grown to five times its initial size has spread south, forcing more evacuations on Thursday after 88,000 people fled the city in the nation's energy heartland.

The weather forecast has called for cooler temperatures and possible rain, offering hope that controlling the blaze could become easier

possibly re-test 43.55 by tonight or tomorrow....short term TA looks bearish if it successfully breakdown 43.55.....however if rebound breakout 45.11, bulls may strongly roar back in.... hmm.gif

Oo serious these tech sector counters profitable? I agreed on Amazon. Tsm is Taiwan Semicon Manufacturing?

http://www.forbes.com/sites/adamhartung/20...e/#30c274a05224

How abt any other sectors like banking or financial services etc
*
Well they all have a lot of growth factored in (esp fb/Amazon)
Tsm is the strongest semicon foundry imo and worth a look if you believe smart, wearable devices (iot) will grow exponentially in coming years

Banking/financial not my interest, feel the industry's stagnant on a macro level. Being in a financial institution myself, the innovation cycle can't keep up with tech industries which are creeping in to financial services themselves

weak jobs report, rig count -11.

no chance rate hike, weak usd = crude price rise.

but... this kind of reaction does not last.

i think it will return to 44 by 2.30am.

edited...

Also on Friday, Baker Hughes reported the number of oil rigs operating in U.S. oilfields fell by 4 to a total of 328 in the previous week. At this time last year, drillers had 668 online.
