opec higher output + weaker dollar ... is crude fear of them, or will make a come back stronger again?

there shd be correlation between crude price n equity indices!

oil bulls retreat on opec output news.

some good economy news - broader market up.

oih and xle not losing much, should be ok.

wti will probably recover after 2am...

indices rally, crude, see-saw tumble.

next few days, better not touch dwti/uwti.

as usual, after i inpatient and sold with loss, the favorable direction started.
after i sold 2/3 of my dwti (with slight loss), the bear finally tries harder now.
only left 1/3 to ride this bear, hopefully able to break even that slight loss soon.
conclusion many times: i am world's worst trader i guess.

this kind of drastic moves of 2-3% each day X 3 for dwti/uwti = 6-10%, wild swings in either direction... very hard not to be shaken. with a loss of 10%, the thought of losing another 10% is frightening.

last 2 days of fall, i also got caught.

anyways, thank you for our comforting.

if oil bears continue to strengthen, looking 40 also possible...41.50 and than 39.50 may see strong support...

my judgment after 2 sessions of serious drop, incl after hours now, it will rise a bit tmrw.

the profit taking at the news of opec output incr may be largely over.

also, api estimates out later - will shake prices again.



anyway, usd/rm is now 3.984 - some consolation.

every time they mentioned oil price increase due to usd movement, the word "bullshit" comes to my mind...just can't help it.

it seems there is very little correlation between dows and crude prices? one up and the other is down.
dows also not related to china data n market further?
wonder what rumours else the punters are using to play crude n dows.

canada reduced production... API lower than expected stock builds.

resistance at 44.70.
