oil/energy stocks rally!!

very volatile man...!

now going short.

i trade crude etf longs n shorts very short term, 1-2 days, sometimes intraday.
51-52, 52-53, i.e. 2% range can offer plenty of plays!
but already said, i play with coins only.

such plays i do is also to "insure" against the xle and oih i hv when i smell an avalanche.
for same reason, it also means i tend to short crude more than long for quick coin plays.

the oil bulls and bears been fighting all night at 53.10
we'll see which one gives way tonite - china, iran, greece, fed factors again and again.
my bet is on the bears.

already watched 2 tv shows!

aapl's back to almost 127, so if u got it close to 120, very good!

oil is down, looks like going to 51, so i was "right".

time to sleep, bonne nuit.

i did top up at about 122, not too bad.

but the way the price been behaving lately, i'm no longer that bullish about it.

seriously, i suggest a look at xlv - this healthcare etf is on track for continuing multi-yr stellar performance:

if appl goes below 115 in absence of a severe market crash, no point keeping - i will dump them all to realize just the fx gain.

that health etf is not for play but for "retirement" - it's my best performer for last 12 months.

i will check with you on china/hk when the time comes.

i need to build up a bit more on my "retirement" funds.



btw... there is no china/hk stocks thread, is there? haven't noticed any...

i think otherwise - now is a good time to buy any fx with rm!

i had a free short period, wasn't impressed due to non-hd which is due to geo-restrictions, i know.

but i see there is a great future in reasonably price iptv service.

crude has a major battle going on 51.70 for the last few hours.

bull and bears... doesn't look like a clear winner will emerge soon.

my bet... still on bears.

well... the way see it, the crude bears just won this round, down to 51.20.

took my profit, now about to go long...

the fruit will continue to do what it has been doing - hang around 128-130, then dip to 125 over 3 months, then repeat... peace and quiet...?

not much action tonite except crude.

oil/energy stocks taking a beating...

crude looks like wanting to crash below 50 soon.

been one hell of a ride... short, long, short non-stop!

still ok for now...

don't have google but have qqq which has like 3.5% google.

so, good too.

earnings season, mostly good. plus low vix.
think most sectors will bull for next 3 months.
s&p, tech, healthcare, biotech all returned or about to return to last highs.
so, very nice!

the only drag and a big one is oil/energy.
coming earnings reports should mostly be ugly.
rate hike reaffirmed for sep/oct; usd is now gaining again, >0.92 euro.
a lot more pain for the sector if crude breaks 50.00 support.
will have to watch this sector very closely.

that will mean spy at 214 which will imply 3.3% gain since jan.

3.3% for 8-9 months...ok, i guess.
