Tq, Dan,..I'm afraid I have to agree with AV's opinion that the prices of things are noticeably rising. What worries me even further is tht after the prices of gods have risen, it will not drop back even after everything recovers. WE will be stuck with the inflation that was triggered earlier by other factors on the country, not by demand-pull !

wow, food 'economist' in the making. but very true. ,my kedai kopi fish n ship was 8.00 now 9.90 with only 1/2 thickness of the normal fried fish! fried rice was 5.5 now 6.20 with few prawns diappearing, rplaced by gfreen peas !!! !@#$. i thot our consumer ministers were saying hawkers shd reduce or maintain their prices ??? i need to re educate myself to understand these ministers.

europe seems to be flat at start, stoxx50 flat. nymex 42. things are pretty 'stable' now. will dows rebound? local bourses got bashed again. same stories. month end more volatile with demos and unrest politically.

for now, yes, i agree with you... crude and will fall further.

the way it always happen, when oil, rm or bursa hit bottom, they can also rebound fast and furious.

those are the exciting unknowns that keep us going, yes?!

gotta watch very closely, but will lose some sleep.

dow/s&p/nasdaq... dicey... seems money is still leaving there and going to eu markets.
