Checked with the photo owner. You haven't gotten his permission to publish these photos.

Feel free to get his permission from the chat group. Alternatively, you can publish your own photos.

And Lyn should pay loyalty fees also.

Looking at those pictures published, we all can conclude that this developer is cutting cost at all corners

Hopefully the building is safe and no major incident in the future
*
What cutting corners? It is minimalist, more expensive than conventional finishes.

Bonus feature of minimalist design, this natural feature reduce dryness in enclosed ac air; save energy and make environment more comfortable.

minimalist design also eliminated the need of wall cladding that caused Grenfell tower fire.

Apa awak mau lagi?

A better and construtive way for you.
Grab the chance. There's a meeting with developer. It is in the chat.
Go to developer and complain it face to face. Solve it there.

Who is lying?

As if developer is unaware of these issues. Believe similar occuring at many places.

A vested party trying to sweep dirt under the carpet and problems will disappear.

Not sure about vested party of other project.
For this, EKC owners get to meet the developer, at least for now.
*
Developer doesn't has office or representative on site? You mean issues couldn't resolve by maintenance or subcon, buyers need to meet with developer management?

Not sure what happen to the case above. But ekc owners can join hands and sue the developer. Tottally unacceptable quality
*
Luxury is not about price and branding only. Need people e g connoisseur who appreciate finer things in life to define and deliver.

Like some said; one can get a man out from kampung but hard to get kampung out from a man.

Not at all surprise buyers are unsatisfied with "6 star luxury".

Guess whomever decided on minimalist design forgot or didn't know concrete is porous, joints is not water tight and idea medium for mould growth.

Unless the developer is willing to spend $ equivalent to a brand new Ferrari to water proof, doubt it could find a long term solution. Guess developer could employ more Bangla to mop dry until defect liability period is over.

During normal time, it gives ventilation. during fire, could break open and become fire escape.

No need much clarification. Most photos were not first handed and being smuggled without permission as l confirmed with most the original owners. So, doubt that 9lai is on site taking own pictures. One liners text is meant to kick start or spark discussion. But it's good that forumers have their reasonable judgement. We all know there's no perfect project and we continue to improve it as we can.

In short, most photos are related to common area/facility/malls and a while back. 9lai chose a theme and posted those pictures together even some were "old" pictures.
Some fixes were implemented also some were shared in the group but doubt that 9lai updated it. Even if posted, can predict the worst text/angle will be used eg "Is this called fix/solution?"
*
As if one never posted/forwarded/shared any photos/video/article without copyright owner's explicit permission.

If crack or leak occurred at public/shared area, could similarly occur in private areas.

Plaster may hide/cover the crack but crack remain. Since you have vested interest, should share these repairs.

Water leaking issue at basement carpark is nothing new, has occurred for a few years since construction. If developer and main contractor could rectify would have done so already.

It is typical of vested interest to swipe unresolved issues under the carpet. Hope ignorant buyer will take over the burden.

Wonder how to improve "poor lift service"? Installing additional lift, Speed up lift, delicate lift to certain floors? Believe many defects e.g water leaking, structural crack, etc are nothing new, not easy or cheap to rectify. May be a blessing in disguise, owners could get lifetime waiver on maintenance and sinking funds

One thing is that, it is not swept under carpet. Can't reveal beyond this point. Let the internal team to handle it with developer.

Rice already become porridge/congee; how much leverage does "internal team" has?

Nice try.

If the developer agreed to waive 3 months of maintenance and sinking funds mean less money will pass to jmb later. Jmb and owners will endure the consequences of limited funds. Waiver of 3 months of maintenance and sinking funds seems to benefit flippers only.

The developer is likely will agree to this waiver if they are indemnified of liabilities.

Flippers are everywhere, either in this project or others. Can't avoid. What's more if they are the first batch buyers with handsome lad....

If you have friends or relatives vested, feel free to ask them to sign and support.
If they have any constructive suggestions, feel free to propose in the group.

Since this is an open forum, everyone inclusive of developer staff is reading too. That's all from me.
*
Flippers interest may be differ from or detrimental to those bought for own stay.

Looks like people moving in to their units and contractors waiting to do their reno work. hmm.gif

But this lobby appears to have some touch up done and looks way better than the shopping mall side when I visited a few months back. Not sure if the latter side dy started the touch up or not.

They defaced the expensive, elegant and clean industrial minimalist finish?!
