Have a quick glimpse about cash flow on pg4 and observed some negative values (negative net cash from operating activities, negative net cash used in investing activities etc) (I am no expert, just reading only) CMW boss, what do you think? (Believe you have something in mind) Have yet seen their June report made available from the link...

From the marketing brochure, the EKC land has been charged to Ambank. Since the land has been bought many years ago at low cost, the land cost should have been paid off presumably. Then this charge should be for bridging loan.
If there is really a bridging loan obtained from Ambank, there should be adequate cashflow available to fund and push the construction fast

QUOTE(accetera @ Aug 17 2015, 06:40 PM) Savills recently took over CB Richard Ellis Malaysia (CBRE). Long time ago, CBRE did managed some malls as well, including the infamous SStwo Mall. I hope Savills gets to learn what went wrong with SStwo mall. In addition, both EKV and Savills should come out with the recipes in making the EKC mall successful. http://www.nanyang.com/node/719199?tid=688

QUOTE(takezhiro @ Aug 27 2015, 12:59 PM) very sad to see cheras central many retail moving out I am sad too. Since Cheras Sentral lost its interchange status(not in new proposed MRT2 alignment), Mayland and its mall management unit really have to put in more effort in sustaining the mall.

QUOTE(restful increase @ Aug 25 2015, 01:14 AM) once in the cement no more air penetration so the rusting process stops. Bro its not the problem of continuing rusting in the concrete, its the problem of is those bars enough capacity not within the design limit. Says the design require 4nos of 20 mm diameter bars in the beams/columns, but after the rusting process left only the rusty 4 nos of 18 mm diameter bars 100%-(18^2/20^2 x 100)=19% losses!!! ....become much insufficient, hard to tell about the real integrity of structure performance later..
