did U Overclock?
Are U using stock HSF?

If U overclock and using stock HSF, 70C @ TAT for C2D is normal...

For me,
I OC to 3.2GHz (running 24/7) with Ultra-120, double folding, Max temp around 53C..Before that I used XP-120, max temp around 62C.... rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif

nice temp
measured by wat software?
erm..mind to try orthos and see wat is temp? biggrin.gif

stock e6300 at 60c? wow..thats hot. I thought C2Ds are much more cooler. Btw, what cooling are you using? stock hsf?

How much does the Thermalright Ultra-120 cost? When will it be available?

Of course it does, make sure your casing is wide enough though

If i were you, i won't settle for Scythe Ninja...

Thermalright Ultra 120, Scythe Infinity and Coolermaster Hyper TX is much much better than Scythe Ninja...

And i were to choose, i'll choose Thermalright Ultra 120 from any other choices... thumbup.gif
Because it's the best of the best... wink.gif

The downside of it, you have to wait for a while as Ultra 120 is on worldwide shortage... sweat.gif
*
Much better is abit of an overstatement really.
The Ultra-120 is only marginally better and it's rectangular shape means less flexibility in terms of mounting whereas the Ninja is a square which means you get your choice of fan mounting in any mobo regardless of socket orientation.

As for performance, the Infinity and HyperTX I daresay only excel under higher airflow conditions. Anywhere from medium to low, the Ninja is a more efficient cooler. And I'm not just saying that because I own one.

Should be better put toward the back fan (exhaust mah)...especially if it is a 12cm fan... it will pull out the hot air nicely from the case .....

usually i wont burden my PSU to do the job to reduce the chances of dust accumulating inside....

now im not worried my CPU ..

coz my GPU can reach 80c without OC.

I think the GC not installed to a proper place..
coz underneath Mobo HSF is GC... Juz very close to that.

SHould i Install the GC to the most bottom slot ??? sad.gif

Hoh?
How can you install the GC in the most bottom slot?

You're using PCI-E right?

If you're using single PCI-E card, then that means you can only install the GC in the first slot liao... laugh.gif

**Unless if u're using PCI graphic card, then that's another story... sweat.gif
**PCI and PCI-E is two different slot... wink.gif

No need, i'm closing that bulk, as it's not even alive at all... sweat.gif

I think it's because of the name, PC Cooler...

Not popular such as any other manufacturer such as Zalman, thermaltake, or CoolerMaster... doh.gif
