1. Annual Income:RM120k

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: A Must  (or easily achievable)

3. Card required for: cashback or good redemption program - online and autodebit insurance- average RM2k p/m, groceries - RM1k p/m, DBKL RM2k yearly, misc

4. Existing credit cards if any: A) 2 x Wise Card (monthly maxed for bill payment/groceries/petrol which is why looking for additional card)

B) CIMB World MC (which is almost useless except for promo at Sam's Groceria now till end March 2016)

C) Essential Card (used for every other thing but since cashback revised to 0.6%, now looking for better options)

D) MBB2 Cards (unused)
5. Looking at CC from: PBB Visa Signature (6% for groceries), You:nique (tiered cash rebate), MBB Ikhwan (5% rebate

6. Others: hardly travel so access to PPL not important
Thanks a lot smile.gif

Yes, PBB VS is what you should be going for.
Better still, get supplementary cards to add in more cash rebates (each supp card has its own cash rebates!)

For DBKL payment, you can try any online cards (UOB VOX, CIMB Cash Rebate, PB VS) by adding them to M2U Other cards and pay it from there.

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Must can be waived.

3. Card required for: The lowest interest rate for Cash/Cheque on Call for payment duration around 2-3 years.
4. Existing credit cards if any: HLB Wise Gold

5. Looking at CC from: Nil

a credit call like this is not recommended as they are usually a lot higher than conventional personal loan. I would strongly advise to consider loan option rather than this. Another option is to consider using your existing card and Balance Transfer the credit to another bank card that offers 6 months or 12 months interest free installments.

if possible, try not to get in debt whenever you could.

there is no 'Online' usage card from Maybank. But for petrol, you can consider Maybank Ikhwan card.

if you don't mind other banks, then UOB VOX and CIMB Cash Rebate card are good for online.

MACH is capped at RM100 per quarter.

QUOTE(edwardccg @ Mar 23 2016, 07:20 PM)
please beware that younique is tier based

spend 1k = 1k * 0.5% = 5, effective 0.5%
spend 1.5k = 1k * 0.5% + 500 * 1.5% = 12.5, effective 1%
spend 2.5k = 1k * 0.5% + 1k* 1.5% + 500 * 3% = 35, effective 1.4%
spend 3k = 1k * 0.5% + 1k* 1.5% + 1k * 3% = 50, effective 1.67%
spend 5k = 1k * 0.5% + 1k* 1.5% + 1k * 3% + 2k *0.3% = 56, effective 1.12%
*
Good example!

Hi, I am looking for a "Everything else" card that is not covered by my existing card.
My dilemma is I am not sure if i should find a enrich miles card or a unlimited 1% card. My annual CC expenditure is not that much that I will accumulate lots of miles and I am scared that it will expire before I have enough to claim.
*
It doesn't really sound like you need more credit card, to be honest.
If you travels, maybe can consider those cards that give you Plaza Premium Lounge free access without condition, such as RHB VS.

Usually EPF is what they look for (to see if there is a consistent income) and Salary slips, if they find EPF statement is inadequate.
