Yeah,the optimization problems will still be there.    Bu still,i don't think it's worth it to SLI or CFX mid-range or low-range cards.

Yeah full 8gb with DX12, so i've heard. No more 50% only for the 2nd card and stuff.
Exciting times, but still depends on developers to fully utilize DX12.

Nvidia is doing more campaigning since they are flushed with cash. Not killing off amd but more like ensuring amd wont bounce back.

Dell just announced their first G-sync monitor: S2716DG.
1440p, 144hz, G-sync and ULMB.

At first I was like awhhh yissss!! Then, I found out it's a TN panel. Fudge.

Yes, I know the TN panels on these sets will be of the highest of end panels. And yes I know IPS has its own set of issues too, backlight bleed and IPS glow are notorious on them. But damn, having used IPS for several years now, it is difficult to go back down to a different color gamut. It's just weird not being able to tell gradients apart, something which even the best TN panels cannot cope with.

well it was speculated that nvidia does have async compute, but that most likely it's emulated, considering this recent issue by oxide, then that could explain their current results.

but that is still speculation, though a rather logical one judging by the results so far.

looking into this async compute issue.... regarding how nvidia cards would perform in dx12 games has got me thinking twice about pascal.

i'm just gonna have to wait and see what the reviewers say on that matter.

when it comes out and they test on ash singularity or another newer dx12 game, then can know whether pascal will last me a few years (with being able to play dx12 games well in mind) or not 

if not then choice would be go for amd (which apparently was not a total flop because they actually did async compute the right way despite being a power guzzler), whereas nvidia probly did some emulation method that could do it albeit poorly 

nvidia telling ash to disable async compute ... does not inspire much confidence

Nvidia have announced the Desktop GPU GTX 980 can use on laptop.
It allow user to overclocking, use VR and the performance just loss about 1% compare with Desktop. 

Around the 31st of May 2015.

Next series should be in about a year.

of course later on Nvidia would release 1080 first. then few months after,  1080Ti, making 1080 having the same fate as 980 now.. then few months after 1090..lel.. I've a feeling Pascal won't come out that soon.

gtx760 zotac now can sell how much a? wan to see if budget enuf for gtx970 or not..

Finally got my Fallout 4 updated  I am more of a 'physical box' person, and it came with just 1 DVD (5GB data)
