better build interior quality ? i beg ur pardon .. its so ugly tbh , since u said so ...

buy car of course emphasize on handling spec and safety la...else buy car for wat  rclxs0.gif  doh.gif

Well, sa10 is right and your opinion not wrong too.

Vios interior build quality is far better than City, but have to admit that City has nicer interior.

Not all people look into good handling, some people prefer towards comfort.

Comparing with similar price range, City V and Vios G/GX/TRD, I would choose City V without further thinking for more airbags, nicer speedometer, bigger rims, touch screen & aircond etc.

But if equipment level are almost the same, City S/S+/E and Vios J/E, I would prefer Vios for better reliability & comfort and I personally prefer Vios outer look more than City.

So, it's up to consumer to decide. Cheers...

Any owner that bought White colour vios here?
I would like to ask whether will the white colour become yellowish after 1 or 2 years?

Is there any different between the white colour offer now in the face-lift edition compare to the previous edition?
*
Mine still looks good so far. I have done coating on it.

Facelifted super white is more white feel compared to solid white which some some kind of little yellowish feeling.

Where you do? Reasonable as compared to market?
*
Mine one is 3M coating in Penang. It's kind of hard to say reasonable or not, as the price are mostly around there for 3 layers of coating (1.5k - 1.8k range for different brand when I did that time). For a more budget price, you can opt for 1 layer coat which cost less than 1k laugh.gif

But I have to say, the moment I get back my car, she's so shiny! as I only do the coating after 1 year. Advantages after coating, the car looks more shiny and easier to clean from dirt, bird drops etc... It's not stone-chip proof, still possible to have stone chip if really hit hard, but can avoid those hairline scratches.

QUOTE(mhj @ Nov 27 2016, 11:39 AM)
If you really make use of the following items then it's worth to go for E spec:
1. Front fog lamp
2. Foldable rear seat for carrying long items
3. Power-retractable wing mirror
4. DVD player with touch screen and Reverse camera

I don't really make use of these few items except front fog lamp, I would prefer J spec to save rm4100. Due to the uncertain economic situations nowadays, cost saving is my priority.

The E spec rear middle seat is not comfortable could be due to the armrest.
*
Your view is the same with me.

Power retractable wing mirror is a convenience item, but adding a RM 4.1k to get is kind of very hard to convince me.

I added fog lamp later by ordering original fog lamp housing & cover from toyota, except the wiring. Nowadays market already have the real plug and play solution without touching any wiring. All these can be done with a price that considered not expensive provided we order original toyota parts.

Tinted good quality raytech tint.

Changed kenwood DDX716WBT.

All these 3 items costed me about RM4k total rclxm9.gif

Hi, would like to hear some advise here.

I want to change tyre profile but remain stock rim from profile 185/60/r15 to 195/55/r15 since 195/55 would have better range of selection choice.

No intention to change rim here.
*
The stock rim is 15x5.5....I'm not sure how would it looks like if you put 195/55 on it, or whether the width too thick or something. To me, too wide tire but narrower rim or too narrow tire with wide rim (hellaflush kind of thingy) is not a good thing.

But the stock tire profile provided is kind of sweat... sweat.gif

Assuming changing rim to 15x7.0, 195/55 the discrepancy(Speedometer differences) is -1.3%.

So far the best combination that we can found is 195/50/R16, with 16x7.0 rim which is perfect match,

or 215/45/R16 with 16x7.5 rim with discrepancy of -0.4&.

Yes, bought ultra racing and after doing some research on YouTube. I think that's all the bar (rear sway bar) that I need to improve  handling. Other bars are to improve chassis rigidity to make it stiffer.

Next on my to do list and not anytime soon would be changing rims, maintaining the same wheel size but wider profile with suitable offset.
*
Example like 15x7 with 195/55R15?

i survey alot shops and decided J&E...
i can get lower price from other shop but material is PU.
they are pro.....just need less than 1 hour to complete.....with 1 year warranty!(other shop no warranty)
*
Good to hear that from you.

Mine one already 1.7 year old. Until now still yet to put bodykit because of they need to drill a few holes for side skirt (rear fender portion) so I'm damn "pantang".

But the new GX and TRD so tempting, so will try to ask them and see. rclxm9.gif

*
It's easy. If your's is reflector headlamp, use H4. If your's is projector headlamp, Vios using HIR2/9012. End of story.

any1 know the best place to get ultra racing bar in penang?vios 3rd gen

Eliminate the one at bayan lepas. Last time I install front strut bar from their shop and they didn't treat my car gently, just simple tighten the screw without any care to my car body. So I will never get my rear anti roll bar install there.
