Seems like M43 still too heavy for long hiking so I'm selling off my system. Let me know if anyone interested as I will definitely give a good deal.
What's next then? 【Micro Four Thirds】Olympus & Panasonic Thread V7, Stay tuned for m4/3 news in Photokina!

I hope your photos in HDD got backup or redundancy.
Once HDD damage, everything gone. For me, I upload all my photos to Synology 213J with Mirroring redundancy setup. My iPhone and iPad also sync the photos to the NAS with Photosync app. I cannot afford to lost my son precious photos. This post has been edited by philipcs: Oct 1 2015, 08:58 PM |

QUOTE(Someonesim @ Nov 9 2015, 11:15 AM) Since am not pro-photog, I care about IQ only, if IQ similar then no problem for me. I think advantages of m4/3 small sensor is relatively cheaper large aperture lens ? A m4/3 f1.8 lens cost almost half of price for f1.8 on canikon, still cheaper than Sony FE I think. Larger sensor give shallower bokeh but most of the time we step down aperture ? Ehhh, f1.8 on M4/3 and f1.8 on FF is huge different in term of DOF. They are not the same f1.8.I dont really care on number of focus point also as my method are single point FTW That been said, am still interested on A7 series for them to be mature ? More lens ? Hopefully cheaper |

QUOTE(minizian @ Nov 10 2015, 10:00 PM) To be honest, i cant remember the actual price cos I bundled the A7 with other stuffs as well. I only remember the total amount but not the amount of a7 individually (If i not wrong its 2.7k) Nikon 35mm f2 is a great lens. Love it's close focusing! The previous owner had to camera so he did not have teh chance to use it Anyway here are the photos in sony jpeg without any touch out done. Lens is Nikon 35mm F2 and 50mm F1.8 e series ![]() ![]() ![]() |

QUOTE(Someonesim @ Nov 11 2015, 10:51 AM) A6000 with kit lens can get below 2K ? Is A6000's lens compatible with A7's ? If yes, good choice as easier for future upgrade, if no then better avoid. EM10m2 using m4/3 mount so it's universal compatible with Oly/Pan/other lens. A6000 and A7 series are all E-Mount, so all the E-Mount lenses are compatible.Personally I dont like EVF that's not at center axis, I always have difficult time composing using phone, for near distance object However, E lenses mounted on A7 will only get APSC resolution, not Full Frame. |

QUOTE(Predator10 @ Nov 11 2015, 11:23 AM) It's about 2-2.1k right now.. If i were you, perhaps i will go for EM10m1 + Olympus 25mm f1.8. The most versatile lens for all purposes.Only EM10m2 can use lenses from other brand? How bout EM10m1? With my budget I can only get the EM10m1 Haha.. don't think I'll need to cover all the focal range.. To spend so much on lenses.. my gf will whack me.. I've played with the A6000, doesn't have the chance to try out the E-M10 yet but will go and have a look when I'm free If you want standard wide angle, get the Panasonic 14mm f2.5 Your gears will be very tiny and no burden at all See this poison post from Robin about Olympus 25mm f1.8: http://robinwong.blogspot.my/2015/11/the-5...ve-weekend.html This post has been edited by philipcs: Nov 11 2015, 01:47 PM |

QUOTE(Predator10 @ Nov 11 2015, 01:48 PM) After reading the link below, I find that the lack of 5-axis IBIS doesn't really matter to me.. it's not that I always shoot with low shutter speed.. Fully agree. i dont think the 5 or 3 Axis IS will have major different in real life usage.http://www.mirrorlessons.com/2014/01/31/3-...-with-the-e-m5/ EM10 will still be my 1st choice .. OK, now you decided EM10, is time for lenses |
