Haven't heard of close focus ring for m4/3, but probably it refers to extension tubes, used for macro photography?
*
Is adapter, not extension tube smile.gif

So i suppose the m43 mount is the same thing as voiglander mount for sony e lens. Funny thing is that why voigtlander did not do the same thing for m43 since they made diff converter adapter for m43 considering they have the tool and machine to do make such items.

Thanks for the link and pity our ringgit sucks since USD is used for all deal made online  cry.gif

Yes, doing the same task. China good in copy.

I actually have the China & Voigtlander version of VM-E close focusing for my A7II, they are doing the same job.
The only different is the Voigtlander built is very very solid and heavy!

43 Rumors Headlines

- Zhongyi 25mm f/0.95 lens will cost $499. Poll: Would you buy it?

- Olympus stops the E-M10II sales because of a manufacturing issue.

- Patent shows also Olympus is working on a Dual IS system (just like you have in the GX8).

Zhongyi 25mm F0.95 doesn't mount on EM5 mark I. I read from China forum. Will share the link later. (In Chinese)

That's good, not too heavy. The Gw-1 has a 0.75x wide-angle converter effect right? That means, on the pana 12-32 it will have a 9mm-24mm am I correct? Please also confirm that the mounting thread is a 37mm.
*
Based on calculator, yes. 24 x 0.75 = 18mm equivalent.
User manual said it mount on GH1 adapter (37mm) for Ricoh GRD 1 / 2.

You can google Ricoh GH1 for confirmation.

I didn't have any lens with 37mm thread size, I cannot try.
Not sure how it look like with 12-32mm either

Dude, you should try some of the Canon old LTM lens. More fitting to the whole theme of GXR of being compact. Or you shd try old pentax super takumar m42 lens, they are quite compact as well  thumbup.gif I still waiting for my mate to get the converter so i can use it.

The adapter for LM mount quite expensive, so can only try with 1 tongue.gif
Just for fun, because those Canon FD mainly for my A7II.

Sad they abandon it but to be honest its still a nice camera to use. Used unit are selling at a cheap. I still shopping for my nice grip promoted in M43 rumor but since our RM went down the drain i decide not to buy  cry.gif

I suppose for normal folks like us, a M43 camera will do much of any work thrown at it. I still grateful i did not get myself  DSLR as i nearly (as in was in shop handling camera itself) bought it. Tat compactness mean i can throw 2 m43 camera and ricoh GXR into one sling bag thumbup.gif

I still got question from other why i choose M43 instead of Nikon or canon  sweat.gif
*
For me, I jumped ship from Nikon DSLR to M43. Never look back.

Just got it from Post Office a while back after so many days, even the packaging box "kemek" edy:sweat:

The lens is in good shape though thumbup.gif

First look impressions:

The Ricoh GW-1 is very tiny (love the size) and seems very very well made, from Japan. The lens seems to be multi-coated both front & rear elements, no markings of filter/diameter size. Lens body is non-slippery in fact, very grippy finishing. Love this tiny lens though. Thanks bro!

Can't wait to try it on my Pana 12-32.

Here's some test shots of the Ricoh GW-1 + Panasonic 12-32 combo.

There is vignetting at the wide-end when the GW-1 is mounted over the UV filter left on the lens and when the UV filter is taken off, no more vignetting! Yay! rclxms.gif

However, when the UV filter is mounted, the vignetting is gone when zoomed to around 14mm (which is 10.5mm i.e. 14 x 0.75) though not bad already but I will take off the uv filter over the 12-32 and I will get a new filter over the GW-1 (no mention of diameter though since there seems to be no thread afterall rclxub.gif).

Findings: Yes, this combo does work! rclxm9.gif  But more tests on the field is needed to see how they perform but I am happy what I see so far. And really big thanks to fellow member philipcs notworthy.gif

1. 12-32 at 12mm without GW1

[attachmentid=4972214]

2. GW1 mounted over UV filter still on the 12-32, vignetting is present

[attachmentid=4972215]

3. Vignetting gone when zoomed to 14mm

[attachmentid=4972222]

4. Finally, after taking off the UV filter, no more vignetting at 12mm

[attachmentid=4972224]

Yes, that's my dinner if you are wondering whistling.gif

I didn't notice any distortion either but I am sure at this wide 12 x 0.75 = 9mm (equiv. 18mm in 35mm term) there bound to be distortion for sure, not noticeable in the pic due to the angle but there seems to be a bit at the black shelf at the background though blur so not so much noticeable. It should be more pronounce if shooting straight-lined objects.

We will see as I will be putting this combo to work.

No doubt, this setup is a killer combo than getting a 7-18 or similar or a prime. nod.gif

37mm and 43mm mounting thread size of all those converter lenses from Ricoh were odd once but now they all have became hidden gems for m43 lens  thumbup.gif

so what next? Ricoh GT-1 1.43x teleconversion lens? to make your 12-32mm f3.5-5.6 become 17-45mm f3.5-5.6  brows.gif
A bit Ricoh conversion lenses info for other who are interested:
GW-2 = 0.75x wide conversion lens (43mm mounting thread size)
GW-1 = 0.75x wide conversion lens (37mm mounting thread size)
DW-5 = 0.8x wide conversion lens (37mm mounting thread size)
DW-6 = 0.79x wide conversion lens (43mm mounting thread size)
TC-1 = 1.88x teleconversion lens  (43mm mounting thread size)
GT-1 = 1.43x teleconversion lens  (37mm mounting thread size)
*
TC-1 = 1.88x teleconversion lens (43mm mounting thread size)

How is the Meike one compare to FL600R ? Weight, size, power and recharge speed.

I had FL600R now, weight is ok if pair with 12 40 lens. Power is not bad although cant fight highest end Speedlite etc, recharge rate felt ok for me, not sure if those exp speedlite could go much faster or not  drool.gif
*
I have the Meike 320 for my Fuji X100s & A7II.
As for A7II unit, i did the comparison with Nissin i40.
i40 is much powerful in ceiling bounce flash and I feel like Meike 320 is much under power.
Recycle also much slower than i40.

I am not sure is my Meiki 320 lemon or memang like that. Also not sure is the same for Olympus model.

As of FL600R, i am using and no complain at all. Wireless Trigger work flawlessly.
