Ya.. Maybe its my work notebook screen but the top and bottom seems clipped.

Maybe raised the blacks and shadow a bit to give it a bit more "stuff" and not so empty.

The little blue piercing off the clouds on the top left corner looks interesting.
*
Correct, the photo taken with 14mm top and bottom quite "empty"
These are photos straight out from camera without any PP.

I will try to do something tonight to the RAW file with LR wink.gif

Midnight spam from Helsinki. All photos taken with Olympus OM-D E-M5 + Panasonic Leica DG SUMMILUX 25mm F1.4.
Basically, no many chance to take photos, dark, wet, raining, cold for the past few days, luckily stop raining Friday evening. Hopefully weekend weather will be good! Crossed Finger!

By the way, the new 25mm f1.7 focus speed should be much better than 20mm, no?

Hi guys, my Olympus EM-10 has gotten into some trouble. Haven't had time to get it to a service center just yet, but hopping to get some pointers from shifus here as to what might have possibly gone wrong.

So a few weeks ago I took out my cam to shoot and the screen was all distorted (not sure what to call it so I'll use the word distortion for now), and also the shots that I took looked the same as well. But after a few minutes it went back to normal. Nowadays it goes in and out of these 3 "modes":

1) Normal (all good, normal pics, functional LCD and VF)
2) Not-so-good (Distorted LCD and VF, but pictures come out ok and normal)
3) Bad (Distorted LCD, VF and pictures)

Nothing I do affects the camera of going in and out of any of the modes, changing battery/memory card, turning the cam on/off. It just comes and goes randomly.  sweat.gif  Right now it's in Mode 2, which means I can take pics but purely through instinct cause I can see the screen.

Here are the pics:

LCD and VF "Distortion", Mode 2. Pictures come out normal.

Pic "distortion". Mode 3, bad bad bad. Only happened twice so far.

So my questions would be:
1) Any idea what's wrong with it? Is it major?

2) For Olympus any preferred/ best service centers to go too? Where should I bring it? I had an EPL-1 for about 4 years and it didn't have any problems so I'm not too familiar with this.

Thanks in advance!

Better send in to SC for checking....
