it depends on the unit itself
some are belong to private owner some belongs to eq themselves
if u r lucky getting units from themselves, count urself very lucky
else u will be cursing n swearing like TS did

once in a lifetime experience n i will never go back to eq apartments anymore

QUOTE(stimix @ Nov 30 2007, 12:04 PM)
Nah....Dun really like those hotels in Brinchang...I did check wth Iris b4..signboard advertised RM60++ but when checked >RM120!..terrible info!....Brinchang is abit noisy wth all the traffics & hotels located beside the roadside inc Iris hse & Hill Garden. I stayed twice at Country Lodge. Although quiet on top of the hill overlooking Brinchang but abit old & not cheap too..price >RM160 during weekend for an old & not so clean hotel! And the food in Brinchang is just like slauthering house..damn pricy and tasteless

For CH, It will be better staying at quiet hotels far away from main roads & the best town so far (for me) is still Tanah Rata. bcos it is not so busy as brinchang & the food there are much better & cheaper!
*
agree
Iris got bad reputation
tanah rata is much more quieter and peaceful

i took the CH-> Tapah route yesterday
and it took me 2 hours from peak to tapah sweat.gif sweat.gif
reason: clearing landslides and cutting down the trees
better use CH->S.Pulai route

Bro stimix, 1 Q i wanna ask u is...after 1KM from the Equatorial have the only junction on my left hand side with a stall there??? What kind of stall plus may i know after 1KM from Equatorial is which side? From Kg Raja or Brinchang??
As i referred to the info here, the road are very very bad, is it? Now still the same? The road are all the way up to the Gunung Brinchang or we still need to walk up? Will we get stuck in there? Is it safe?  shocking.gif

Bro stimix, u stayed at Century Pines before? How was it? Oh ya, now only i know that the Strawberry Hotel is so far if u din tell me so.  sweat.gif
*
i will reply on behalf of stimix

there are many stalls there
to be precise
the junction is opposite the entrance of Bee Farm
u can't miss that
it is less than 1km i think

still the same
badly tarred
potholes here and there
yes...the road will reach the peak.. and u can go to the micro station or brinchang path 8/9
Need to add 1 more information: Gunung Brinchang is the highest peak that a vechicle can reach in malaysia
no need walk
u wont get stuck unless u walk into the forest
safe.. erm... dono... if u r in the car i guess its ok...

C.Pines
old wing - rather old but spacious... and a bit noisy during muslim prayers time
new wing - okay.. since it is pretty new.. ask for the room nearby the lift if possible.. the other side is noisy during the nite since it is beside tanah rata main road

the trek at robinson fall is pretty easy and it's often used by many visitors
so the "trek" is pretty obvious itself

or u wan moar challenge, take the path num 1 (at the peak of gunung brinchang) which is a very difficult, unless u got loads of energy and experience, else i will suggest u to take the robinson fall path

Added on June 21, 2008, 10:10 pmfor moar info of the path
