I suggest using modeling software like Amplitube 2 or Guitar Rig 2 where it uses a built in EQ.

hey guys, just came back from Yamaha Asian Beat Grand Final .... the show was quite ok .... i'm proud to say that the most outstanding band in the competition is the finalist (champion) from our very own Malaysia .... the rest was kinda ok ok only .... i'm kinda disappointed that wes borland performance was too short and too average, not something that i was expected from him .... maybe he reserved the best for tomorrow workshop ..... i left early so i din get the result for the competition .... anyone went there?

both liquid tension experiment albums are a must have. anyways, theyre not dream theater without vocals. it started out as mike portnoy's 'solo' project which eventually became successful. when DTs keyboardist left, jordan rudess joined in. i cant remember the name of the bassist in LTE but he's very skillfull.

im off to church. see you(whoever u guys are) at the guitar clinic

If I remember correctly, the bassist in LTE is Tony Levin, from King Crimson or something.

Ohhh...Ocean of Fire..yes they are very good. The guitarist is Kelvyn Yang or something from Penang right. Damn power!

you need a LINE-OUT from your AMP.

then use LINE-IN from your PC.

only then you can record... or else I think you need to mic your amp.

p/s: the headphone jack on your amp is for output, not input tongue.gif

sound recorder is good enough for simply recording one guitar.

if want to do more, got free software like audacity.

Oh yeah man..... Will definitely have to crank out alot of pedals for that one!!!

But blackangel.... did you ENABLE your Line-In?
Some cards will require you to check (or sometimes uncheck) the line-in box.
And is the volume on?
Check all these things.......
