i was thinking of the BB2, as its suppose to be vintage sounding.
but from lots of reviews and from ppl i know on the gibson SG forum. most prefer the '57 classic. seems the only BB worth getting is the pro, as that is the only BB that is potted. the rest, BB1, BB2, BB3 are not potted, so at high vol/gain it will feedback, noise etc. this is where the '57 classic comes in, to give that classic sound with no feedback. right now i am looking at stewmac's Golden Age pickups. they are apparently '57 classic sounding, but with a price tag of around USD40. oh yea, one of the guys on the gibson SG forum knows a gibson repairperson. hes said that he gets alot of gibsons coming back with BB's to be replaced cos of the noise problem. Woah! Settle down there! Too much programs man!!!
To me... I simply open up Audition 2.0.... go to multi-track.... click on Effects and select VST.... Amplitube 2.0 (so I can use it in real time)..... adjust the settings, then go back to Audition....Prime up a new track, and then hit record. That's the simplest way I can use it. |

Like I said, will have to call up CK Music and find out if the UX2 is in stock yet......
If it is..... I should be there around 5 or 6. CK is actually having a clearance sale on a few of their items. You should check there out too if you have the time. |
