would you recommend the m-audio fast track or the line6 ux1?

someone in SG is now selling what looks like a RLC-50 used.
everyone seems to be offering around SGD400 for it

apparently they're now MIC and go for around SGD800-900 new.

hey guys, i really can't make up my mind la. Should i get the line6 ux1 first or should i get the microcube first? The reason why i am trap between these two it's because i play the acoustic therefore i can still practice without the microcube. Why i want the lin6 ux1 is because i want to record my playings. So which do u guys suggest?

if you got a decent soundcard, you can always plug the guitar into the microcube and then direct to the PC.

blacktrix, since its USB, take note of the qrecording quality based on how many inputs u're recording. i guess u'll only be recording one at a time(guitar) so its ok (recording at 24bit 96khz). firewire is better, but comes at a much higher price. also, if ur USB slots are full u dont want to put the m audio through hubs.

bluesilver, its possible to record straight. listen to the virtual jam. was done plugging straight into my laptop with a crappy built in soundcard.

Well, the point of getting USB is because I might use it on my new lappy (which is coming only end of the year), and could be used for portable recording. Technically, I COULD get a firewire card, but that will add to the cost. Anyways, I'll go Sinamex, ask around and test out and see what happens.
