so the classical guitarists usually play notes instead of chords? am i right? hmm... during the exams is there practical and theory like piano? Or is it different?
*
I dont really understand your first question. During exams got some aural tests...the theory u need to have grade 5 to continue taking grade 6 practical onwards. Unless if you're taking Trinity, then different abit. Same like piano I guess.

You can actually take "tabbed" exams (ie... like how we normally read our Tabs) and also musical notes reading exams. I asked last time.

Oh yeah..... Lamb Of God on Conan O' Brian..........

That was weird.

Most of the awards are not broadcast, dude. Only the major ones like record of the year, song of the year etc are being presented on the event. The rest are presented before the show. The Grammy does recognize metal acts, in fact bands like Slipknot have won the metal performance awards in the past. smile.gif

VERY much like Zakk actually! Especially during the solo...... it's like.... he was channeling Zakk! And I'm REALLY digging his signature guitar........
And I guess they have to "tame down" their performance as it's on NBC....

And now..... for something completely different....

Does anyone know if it's possible to completely tone down the volume of my Volume Knobs of my RR3? Again... I'll re-explain my problem....

The volume on my RR3 cannot be completely "turned off" like a Kill-switch ala my Les Paul. For clarity:

1 = Neck Pickup
2 = Bridge Pickup

if I turn down vol 1, but vol 2 is still on and my switch is on 1.... I can still hear sound... assuming it's from 2. Unless Vol 2 is completely turned off.... then I will have no volume from anything.

So which means, I can't have the kill-switch effect because even with vol 2 turned off and I switch back to 1 and 2..... I'll still get sound from 1....

Do you understand???

So Does anybody know if that can be fixed? Ie... if the volume is off, it remains off.....

Same bleed even if it's Vol1 on, Vol 2 off or vice versa....

It's quite audible.... Like.. turning the volume down to about 1 or 1 1/2....

With or without the overdrive...... even on clean channel can still be heard.
