I wanna do some recording of my own playing(to see how i'm doing) but not sure what softwares to use, I did a search and found this but i'm still not sure which is a good setup. Anyone can give some software reccomendations?
also if I record my guitars, I have to directly plug it into my PC right? need what cable ? and i also need a drum beat simulator (kinda recording 1 man band thing) |

I made a Gary Moore patch on my ToneLab SE to be played with a Les Paul...... it sounds pretty close to Still Got The Blues..... but with a little more Reverb.

i have a gf too..but i guess this valentine gonna be lonely also cuz both got works to do....pls la those lecturers...cant seng mok abit..near CNY n got valentines day...old sh*t! what i can do is jz listen to gary moore songs on that day. XXXX u calculus freak! |

Most (if not all) classical songs comes in sheet music anyway. Songs that you learn are classical songs (of course Erm...I dont think there's much improvising, unless you're composing. My ex-classical guitar teachers so far depend more on sight reading than listening, and just increasing their repertoire in songs. Never really paid attention to practicing scale patterns throughout my time learning to play the classical guitar. Exams emphasises more on the pieces anyway. |

so the classical guitarists usually play notes instead of chords? am i right? hmm... during the exams is there practical and theory like piano? Or is it different?
