QUOTE(moderneagle @ Feb 16 2007, 04:05 PM) E777, if u're in Melaka Raya, see if Daniel Music is opened. I bought my first electric from Daniel way back - had a choice of the Ibanez GB-10 (George Benson model, MIJ) or the Rockstar model (Strat shape with 2 x Super 58 humbuckers). Guess which one I chose? Imagine, a MIJ GB-10 costs RM 900 then! It was the Rockstar of course.. haha. but look at ur gear today! nothingfor u to regret! If I had taken the GB-10, imagine how much it would be worth today.. haiya.. |

my advice is the LP. but u know im a big LP fan. u already have a pointed guitar with FR and on the other hand u only have epiphone's not Gibson(although u have an epi zakk wylde LP, but still...).

QUOTE(blackangel @ Feb 17 2007, 08:11 PM) and by the way, im looking for a multi fx...hows a boss gt6 works? the price around? vox tonelab / se? hmm heard that zoom's got some problem..not sure i dont think there are any new gt6 around anymore. 2nd hand gt6 would be around rm900 or slightly above, whereas gt8 would be around 1.2k or so. if im not mistaken someone in jamtank let his go for 1.1k, so maybe u can consider the gt8 too. anyways, HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR! |

well, if u're not serious and love all the extra fancy fancy features, line 6 UX1 is the way. however i think m-audio do make better audio interfaces resulting in better recordings. all without the fancy features that comes with ux1/ux2. however, it depends on what suits you.
as for me i would love to have a firewire audio interface by m-audio. know anyone selling second hand ones? however, if the price is right, line 6 UX1 and UX2 arent bad too. if im not mistaken someone selling off his UX2 for rm550 (but that was quite a while ago). blacktrix, seriously, the kb37 isnt as good as i initially hoped for. the midi controller is really clumsy. plus, all u get is some keyboard keys. u'll be much better off using that amount of money getting a UX1 and then a midi controller. and if u're really really into midi controllers, u can check out the AXIOM series by m-audio. keyboards, knobs, 2 wheels(pitch and modulation) plus 8 touch sensitive pads!!!! no faders though. plus its built like a freakin tank compared to other controllers in the market(including previous m-audio ones). the 25 key one is rm900 i think. sadly, its not small enough to slide into a backpack like my current oxygen 8v2. if i had rm900 before getting my oxygen, i wouldve gotten the axiom. now, i still have to get a m-audio finger trigger. if i manage to, then i would have alot more buttons and stuff to play with compared to an axiom. hey guys, this discussion shouldnt be in this forum. this is the guitar spam forum. edit: i dont think kb37 is that expensive, coz 1.2k is the price when it first got out.
