i'll be there tomorrow too after class. im actually stayin in a hotel there as my dad is in town.

everdying, what do u think of burstbucker 2 pickups that on jamtank? how does it sound? worth it for me to swap it into my epi LP? is the wiring hard or can i just do the same thing?

backtrix, i saw the UX2 and UX1 on display at CK yesterday evening. not sure if they had new stocks but show unit is still there. midi specialist do have the maudio fast track pro.

im more interested in hearing how itll work with a mic(and dont add any backing tracks). see how it does in real life (sometimes demos on the webpage sound too good)

mics for vocals. good! thats even better coz i have a sennheiser mic lying around doin nothing(no one wants to buy it even when i tried selling it cheap).

u guys will have to realise blacktrix plug his guitar straight and used a software only for the amp modelling. the warm classic sound wont be achieved with those EMGs on his LP. lol. also, u can clearly hear that theres some 'dead' ness from his finger tone too.

kinda hard to explain. u know they always mention about 'tone is in the fingers'? well, its how hard he hits the strings with his fingers, how long he holds a note, his picking strength, pick direction, etc.

u'll be surprised how much fingers can change tone. just join the LYN jam and when u see players just swap turns using the same guitar and setup the entire tone and feel changes.

both liquid tension experiment albums are a must have. anyways, theyre not dream theater without vocals. it started out as mike portnoy's 'solo' project which eventually became successful. when DTs keyboardist left, jordan rudess joined in. i cant remember the name of the bassist in LTE but he's very skillfull.

that 76 LP was pulled off jamtank for ebay? now cant negotiate. have u tried that guitar? hows the conditions? wondering how the frets are.

everdying, im not sure with guitar electronics, but can if i get the burstbucker 2 pickups for my les paul can i just wire it back the same way as my current les paul wiring? need to change any pots?
