Bro, see through the whole video i shared, they tested in labs, regular fuel Ron87 works just as well as Ron91 premium.

It is just propaganda from the government (here in malaysia) and the petrol companies (elsewhere in the more sane world)
"That putting premium fuel is good for your car, better mileage, good for the environment" blah blah blah....

(For your insight wankel malaysia did have Ron92 about 10 years ago, and our premium was Ron95. Then it so happenned...
One sleepyhead prime minister suddenly awoke from his deep slumber amidst his dream of corridors, came up with a brilliant scam to hike up all petrol prices to the above Rm2 range....

So he came up with the scam to abolish Ron92 and replaced it with Ron95 for the benefit of all malaysians(yeah right) and even introduced Ron97 to further cheat the very generous and ignorant malaysians...

So like it was the first time a government championed a "premium" fuel.....with their propaganda, so much so, many of my friends, due to fear of their engine exploding, resort to pumping Ron97....
*
Bro, wankel is trying to tell u, different cuntry RON value may be different. Hence, the video shows 87 is quite similar to our 91. More readings here.

Anyway, if you see through the video, in Canada and America, theh have Ron87, Ron89 and Ron91 fuels.

Also, most cars do not NEED any high octane premium fuel. (Even Honda cars have the sticker on their fuel caps stating Hondas need only Ron91 fuel)

Regular fuels run the same as premium fuel, regular fuels burn cleaner than premium fuels and regular fuels have the same god damned fuel economy as premium fuel....

So please go pump ron97 and pollute the environment more.

Yesterday, I was out whole day with r3apers's boss in my car. He kept complaining my car lack of power. Saying since car capacity already small, atleast give it a shot of RON97. His SXV10 some 20 years old car, after injected with half tank of RON97 so darn powderful to the extend he use the term "I fear to put down my right foot on the gas pedal" whistling.gif

Facts:
1) My car had only taken once or twice RON97, there's no significant changes in terms of mileage or powder delivery, other than it bore a hole in my wallet. And decided not to do it anymore unless no choice(gas station ran out of lower RON fuel)

2) My engine is EURO RON91 complied. But due to severe modification and over time I wear & tear to the engine, my pistons and valves often pinging and knocking(pre-ignite). Hence, higher RON does not mean its harder to burn. Higher RON is meant for high compression vehicle to reduce chances of pre-ignition due to engine heat/compression. So, logically higher RON will reduce emission/fuel consumption and cleaner for engine regardless the fuel is over RON compare to your compliance RON requirement of your engine

3) When we hit the freeway, I took it from 40kph to 110kph in short few seconds. The bosses almost break my handle, holding on to the door panel ever so tightly nod.gif And, I use RON95, and my engine is only 1.2 compare to the SXV10 that is 2.2 flex.gif

AAM giller mahal
sweat.gif
*
RM60 a year is mahal? I think until today after I sold my Wigra for 3 years, it still worth the juice by servicing the membershit. Besides, 2 years ago when my Shawie flywheel incident, I tow from Sri Petaling all the way to Dengkil, claimed gao AAM RM280 ady, that's a 5 years member fee I need to service. Not to mentioned previously multiple occassion I asked for AAM assistance on both Wigras & Iswagas. Oh and AAM also provide onsite repair if situation allowed and no major part changes involved. Rest assured, they also wanna cut cost on their tow truck service. Small case like if radiator fan not working properly, they'll start knocking your carbon brush in the hope it turned on your fan, so to put u on the road 1st and you can drive straight to your preferred workshop. If starter problem, they'll come over and diagnose to ensure it's not wiring/battery problem. Even then, if you wish to send directly to workshop, they'll try to roll start your car so you can drive there straight away without going through towing hassle.

You tell me, RM60 contract to have pomen/tow truck standing by 24/7 throughout the cuntry, call this expansive? Then u better stick with your insurance policy and hope the FREE road assist don't screw you up.

really ka CVT if drive properly can have better fc than manual?

Compare FLX CVT to FLX MT, yes CVT has better fuel efficiency then Manual, providing both traveling at the same speed/pickup pace.

anyone found a better way to adjust the handbrake other than opening the whole rear wheel hub? my handbrake keeps getting too high for my comfort
*
Can be adjusted from the lever there inside the cabin. But after sometime, it will still loose like cabut rear wheel hub. Worst is, if being adjust too tight from the inside, the outside brake cylinder will be pull too far, and possibly putus berak kabel laugh.gif

Hi Bro... notworthy.gif

Looks like our this "new" Saga has lost many useful features which were part of old gen Saga... sweat.gif

Me rber there was a small hole (with a rubber cover) on the drum back-plate thru which a flat screwdriver cld b used 2reach an adjusting wheel & make adjustments of brake shoe gap w/o so much inconvenience!

Wishing every1 a good evening! cheers.gif
*
According to magician, many manufacturer that decided to menten use drum berak for the back has already removed such convenient feature as the hole will result in water masuk, hence losing berak when going over flood. Now the thing is, how often does 1 so gangho until going over flood that hai until masuk pintu level? whistling.gif

Another bad thing is, the sensitivity of the drum berak bcum so low simply because too many sohem abused their henberak. Like pull henbrek at 70kph then make the car slide. All this not applicable to our new PL1BTx series GaGa anymore. Even if tighten the berak to 1 click full stop, it will loosen up after few round of tarik.

QUOTE(zeone @ Aug 26 2015, 10:54 PM)
And...yup, my Gaga's handbrake now needs abt 5-6 clicks 2"hold" the car... sweat.gif
Mayb worthwhile sending 2SC 4rear brakes service eg clean...adjust/replace brake shoes??

Advice wld b appreciated...Tqvm in adv. notworthy.gif
*
You should. After the fix, make sure you do maximum 2 clicks to full stop everytime. Prevent from pulling too hard and it shall last longer nod.gif
