Hi All,

Just sharing and getting opinion.

Just got my 2008 Swift Sport manual (85k Odo, not sure if tempered). Previous owner used only water in cooling system. Assume he start using after warranty ended in 2010, so it's seven years of water only in cooling system. He claim never over heated and flush frequently. Upon visual check, there are some rust from the radiator cap opening. I am going to flush the system using coolant flush, then using Toyota Long Life red coolant.

1. Has anyone using water only in their Swift's cooling system, any adverse effect so far?

2. What's the capacity of Swift Sport cooling system? As in how many liters of coolant it hold.

3. Anyone using Toyota red coolant in their Swift?

Thanks.

Try not to use water, it can potentially cause issues in the long term.

Coolant capacity is roughly 6.2 litres

I am using Toyota coolant, but green type.

Seeing that your Swift Sport already has rust, I would highly recommend getting your coolant system flushed soonest possible.

For those who having CVT issue on yours ZC32S...Japan had release the official statement regarding (i think so?) your gearbox issue which, i'd assumed that they extend the warranty from 5 years to 10 years and replace the faulty parts free of charge? (direct google translated)

Hi all, I'm contemplating to get a SSS ZC31S. Would like to know more about it's maintenance cost and also the parts availability for ZC31S. Would appreciate if everyone could provide their input on this. Thanks!

Hello & good day to all.

I'm actually new to Swift & still looking for a specific variant that exactly look like this:

I'm not very knowledgeable but by the look of it, it seems like a ZC31S Sport GLX type? However the front & back bumpers & spotlight seems different with the rest of the Sport type. What exactly is the specific name for this model? Year it was released?Etc? Google seriously doesn't help much.

Also it mostly sold out everywhere on every used car trader i ask, any info where i can find more of this is appreciated smile.gif

its normal GLX type i think, zc21s with hikari bodykit( after market bodykits, not original sport bodykits)

almost same as mine, but mine is GXS zc21s ( leather seat + round brake light + sport bodykit)
then i change the bodykit to hikari

u can buy any zc21s variant .. then buy the hikari bodykit, i think now around 2-3k

Phew, thank you so much for the info. I guess i shouldn't worry too much about it being rare car/limited edition or something.

Hi guys,

Anyone know where can I get the original Suzuki Full Synthetic Oil? I've been sending my Swift for service at the Service Centre in Kota Damansara. But, nowadays, since the SC had changed to the Proton one, they use Petronas oil instead of Suzuki one.

Regards,
Bill
