Having a zc21s..
Is it possible to swap shock absorbers and spring (or without) with zc31s?
If do, what's the concern and possible cost?
Thank you

Hi sifus,
Do anyone did manual gearbox swap to 1.5 Swift GLX (2007)? Which workshop is recommended? HT81S gearbox will be better or zc21s original manual gearbox? |

QUOTE(ericmaxman @ Feb 21 2017, 08:21 AM) Can. Wow this blog is helpful thanks a lot Your ride will be stiffer. Do take note that the rear may need some modifications in order to fit. Can refer to here - http://tykoh88.blogspot.my/2010/04/install...rts-monroe.html Monroe is an aftermarket? Stock? *didn't really go deep into absorbers This post has been edited by hoo_hhh: Feb 21 2017, 05:47 PM |

QUOTE(ericmaxman @ Feb 21 2017, 08:22 AM) Engine mounts. Replace all three. All in about RM900. Thanks ericmaxman I did mine at XD Autowerks. HT81S manual gearbox easier to locate. But there is a lot of work to be done if you want a manual swap. If memory serves me right, XD Autowerks did do a Swift manual swap. There was a lot of work involved A lot of work.. Do ECU is require to change when doing a manual swap or the original ECU will be just fine? This post has been edited by hoo_hhh: Feb 21 2017, 06:22 PM |

QUOTE(ericmaxman @ Feb 21 2017, 06:48 PM) Monroe and the stock SSS shock absorbers has the same damping rate? How about use stock absorbers with SSS springs? If ECU remains, will it affect the firing, fc etc? |

Hi swift owners,
Is it normal for swift 1.5 2007 to have a small (almost miniature but still can be heard) kinda squeaky sound when going across hump? I always hear that sound but foreman told me he heard nothing and get back to him when louder. And any recommendations where is better to service? Sifu sifus.. |

Hi all swifters and sifus...
Got a swift sport 1.6.... got some couple of questions.... 1. Does KAYABA EXCEL-G can be replaced with monroe shocks? 2. And when with driver and passenger in front, front drop very low until about one finger or less. Is this normal? Seems very very not normal to me... |

QUOTE(Omochao @ Mar 12 2018, 03:30 PM) Hi guys need some advise on changing absorbers as the car has clocked 124km and the car is now feeling floaty and bumpy even on slightly uneven road surface. Tokico is the OEM for original absorbers as you'll get the same feeling as stock/ori.I did manage to source out from spare part shop, Sen H**, and they mentioned to me the estimated price, Tokico=rm280 per pc Kayaba=rm380 per pc ORI=RM480 per pc one of my friend actually recommended me to use IMP, and the price i got quoted was rm750 for both pieces including fixing and gst all in as well. This is just only for the front absorbers. Any advise guys? Kayaba claims that 10% stiffer on their setup, is true but it wont affect daily driving basis. Feel just like stock but with *abit* better feel to the road. This post has been edited by hoo_hhh: Mar 20 2018, 02:04 PM |

Hi everyone
First of all, I hope everyone is safe and sound during the MCO period Do any sifus or swifters using low temperature thermostat (or the famous middle temp RRP ones), paired with upgraded radiators (dual layer aluminium)? Some forums says that if too much cooling may affect swift's engine performance, is that true? Was looking through online but can't find any reviews.... Hope swifters can help out 🙏🏼 #stayhomestaysafe |
