QUOTE(atecshlee @ Jul 10 2015, 10:14 AM) I do a research, all the info from oversea. some said cat converter causing this, some said transmission fluid overflow causing this, some said plastic wire near to engine manifold melt causing this.... all and all I check, no overflow, no nearby plastic/wire melt, cat converter>> cant try. my car still under warranty, have to use ori part from Suzuki. Btw, I just have my 20k service and change the aircon filter, cost me RM150. They also claim anti bacteria and so on, but I still can smell the burning/ alcohol rubbing smell now even not rev at highway. Whatever you stated above are info I also gathered when I got my Swift Sport 1.5 yrs ago. There is another thing I noticed, the smell eventually becomes lesser and lesser. Also, certain type of petrol gives stronger smell. When I switched from Shell RON 97 to BHP 95/97, the smell also reduced (not totally gone away, but reduced a lot even when revving about 3000 rpm)

QUOTE(one81 @ Sep 7 2015, 05:21 PM) I just call Puchong SC for major service appointment which is 40k mileage... fully synthetic oil will cost me roughly around RM810 and semi synthetic oil is cheaper by RM1xx (can't remember exact amount)... so i will go with fully synthetic oil... Let us know what freebies they giving for fully synthetic. For Caltex previously, they gave boot organizer. For Suzuki, they gave backpack

Just called the Suzuki Service Centre Puchong to make appointment but was told that they are no longer allowed to service Suzuki cars. Apparently this happened only recently

Just came back from Suzuki Service Center at Old Klang Road.
They told me the Puchong one is not an authorized one for some time already and told me to keep the receipts of my previous visits there in case there is dispute for warranty claims later.
He said that Suzuki was aware that clients were still going there unaware that they are no longer an authorized center. Their company has been removed from the Suzuki site.
The Old Klang Road Center was pretty quiet on a Saturday. I was the first one though early in the morning, so not sure if they have more customers later.
They only have Suzuki engine oil. Castrol none.

Someone knocked my Swift Sport today when it was parked. No idea who did it.
1. Any idea how much to fix and should i take to Suzuki panel shops?
Concerned bout my car warranty
2. Will it rust if I leave it?
Picture after cleaning

QUOTE(one81 @ Oct 13 2015, 04:51 PM) Sorry to hear it bro.. i know how u feel because it happened to me not once but twice 1. Better bring it to any paint shop.. much cheaper and faster workmanship... 2. From your picture i don't think it will rust but maybe the paint will show crack symptom in future... don't worry it will not void your warranty since it just cosmetic damage... i repaired it twice in different incident and so far i have no issues with SC (*touch wood)... First incident : Crash test on wall [attachmentid=5115278] Second incident : Side collision with 1 tonne lorry (10km/h) [attachmentid=5115317] Bro, Where did you get your stickers done and how much? Friend asked me to do it at Racing Fit or Kaitenaz but not sure how much I just fixed my SSS dent and thought of dressing her up a bit

QUOTE(chiafoo @ Dec 1 2015, 11:31 AM) If u press/release on free gear do u notice : Engine on , press clutch got sound "kruk" near clutch pedal , when release "tuk" metal sound at engine bay (clutch plate&cover). Engine off , press and release clutch pedal , "kruk" noise also near the clutch pedal. Also metal sound from engine bay when release clutch normally happen when want to engage to 2nd gear from 1st gear I have a SSS Auto 2013 (first batch). The metal sound (soft knocking sound coming from dashboard/engine bay) also happens when start moving slowly. I did ask the SC what was it, they unable to tell me. So been living with that the last 2 years. The only other issue was the rotten egg smell at high rpm, but that too eventually lesser

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Mar 26 2016, 06:43 PM) I think that is abit over optimistic. For Rm80 worth of Ron97 fuel, the car can get above 600km mileage? I can get about 500km max in a good run. Im using BHP 97, I get about 550km on a full tank (display cluster shows 16.1km/l)

QUOTE(TOMEI-R @ Mar 26 2016, 07:25 PM) BHP seems to be better though. Shell and Petron seems to be lesser in terms of mileage. Do you drive highways most of the time? 60% city 40% highway This post has been edited by thirumaran: Mar 26 2016, 10:41 PM
