*
Ya have 5 years warranty from Jan 2014 to Jan 2019. What's Sunny Gomez?

For those who having CVT issue on yours ZC32S...Japan had release the official statement regarding (i think so?) your gearbox issue which, i'd assumed that they extend the warranty from 5 years to 10 years and replace the faulty parts free of charge? (direct google translated)

Tks for the info. Wonder if they will extend to Msia as Proton is doing the warranty claims now.

I see new Swift Sports 2014/2015 still being sold at 85k. Tempted to get it but afraid of after sales and availability of parts. Parts will be expensive, but is there a long wait as well? Any advice?
*
Unsold units? Manual or Auto? What about warranty?

Im using a 2014 SSS Auto, it came with 3 yr warranty but was later extended to 5 yrs. From what
Im hearing unless u live in KL/Sgor, you may have difficulty claiming warranty.

So called new units still available in carlist. Not sure what kind if any warranty is available. I'm looking for manual transmission uc. I live in pj but lack of parts and service is a concern. Thanks for replying.
*
Parts and service still OK, those former Suzuki service centers who were converted to Proton still doing a good job (from my opinion).

85k for Manual or Auto?

Did anyone here upgrade their radio to Suzuki Swift android HD touch screen system? I went to few accessories shops and they are selling at expensive price.

Now considering to purchase the OEM set myself and get the accessory shop to install but not sure if they are willing/ know how to install for me tongue.gif
*
im also looking for one. A forumer here told me that Sony XAV-W650BT is compatible with the buttons on the Suzuki steering. But it's not Android

Price was just below RM1,800

Not running on Android. I prefer to have the option of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay

Im just looking for a simple and cheap player with bluetooth that works with Swift steering to answer calls.

I don't need touchscreen, android, ios support, etc.

Stock SSS player no bluetooth sad.gif

Any recommendations?

Hi all. It's been awhile since i bought my car. In a blink of an eye it's close to 5 yrs++ now.

Journey so far:
No major issue. Engine ok. Touch wood everything go well.
Normal crack on aftermarket side skirt
Mileage is about 1-120 km and ongoing
My car is NA

Changed item:
4 units of tyres
16'->15' rims
silicon wiper
Dry Panasonic battery @2016 (First change from stock battery)

Things coming to change:
Lightbulbs
Battery anytime as soon hit 3 years
Disk Brake pads x4 (anyone can recommend or just stick to ori)
Overhaul (if mech say need, subject to wallet)

Overall experience:

This car is good from performance, stability and NVH. It was (CBU) highly priced then reduced (CKD). I am satisfied with the car, still good looking imo, fine quality and not giving me any headache. I will keep this car for long term. It's fun to drive.

Only downturn about it is resale market. Price is crazy.
*
Are you driving the SSS?

1. Why did you reduce the tyre size from 16 to 15? Changed after how many years/km?
2. Regarding resale value, I drive a 2013 SSS Auto, was looking at the Hyundai Ioniq, dealer told me he can give me rm40k for it trade-in. Is that bad?

Anyone did any headunit upgrade on the prev gen swift? (2009 ish) The absence of bluetooth is killing me 😭
*
Ya, same issue here, driving SSS 2013.

I got this as a temporary solution.

https://www.amazon.com/Jabra-Freeway-Blueto...g/dp/B004XZHY34

Was thinking of changing headunit, but car still under warranty till Jan 2019. Now looking for
Android Auto options

One of the forummer here recommended Sony XAV-W650BT. Got Bluetooth, USB and AUX in. Also compatible with the Swift's steering wheel control. This is not Android Auto though.

Looking at this passenger side air vent, I think it should give you a good idea on how to remove it.
