I see, thanks for your response. I guess I'll go with 1.5L version as it seems to have more spare parts. Thanks again sifu sifu

Yup, rather high but again all depends in workmanship quality and materials used. Do not go to too cheapest places but need to go to at least more trusted/looks reputable shops.

trying to re-do my internal door panels. Was looking at the IPC paint as such:https://shopee.com.my/IPC-Black-Plastic-And-PVC-paint-Ready-Stock-100-ORIGINAL-i.473599089.3892752029?sp_atk=57379068-2924-4b21-a51b-1069a2a43a91&xptdk=57379068-2924-4b21-a51b-1069a2a43a91

Can sifu sifu let me know if the door panels are PVC and plastic? or full plastic.

Also, anyone have any expertise redoing their interior door panels - any helpful brands i can use besides the above?

Stock is the best option. Depending on yr budget. Prepare about Rm3k for absorber, some related parts and labor. With change.

One authorized SC is still working in Batu Caves. One who claim uses original product in Sg Buloh. I went to these two. The rest is using original and aftermarket stock. Pick one u prefer. Find their fb group from fb.

I prefer somewhere in USJ or south Shah Alam if possible

Suspect absorber is time for servicing or totally have to change if cannot be salvage

Other than that, hard to bid goodbye to this car. Just the big downside is 2 airbags

Fineworks is consider Shah Alam bordering Sg Buloh. USJ or glenmarie got SC but never been there, so I don't know.

Better change new absorber bcos servicing it is gamble. Might go off anytime. Absorber set + lower arm + labor for less than rm3k SC quote me.

Well this car till today is a good personal car. Never meant for full ride so 2 airbag is sufficient. Been driving it safe myself so i not yet and never will use the airbag.

changed mine at fineworks sg buluh last 2 years.
1 fullset of KYB Japan absorber front and rear, i think around rm1k something. you can check with fb page, he got listed the latest price ( which thumbs up for honest seller, not like other seller dont want to publish their price sweat.gif )

now i think my lower arm rubber already kaput, a bit noisy when go thru an even road bumps.
and my aircond got small leak sweat.gif . but its worth it since its 10years of age. everything else still fine

Yeah now after 7 years can hear very obvious rough sound when going thru uneven roads, like junk car hahaha

Probably will change everything since I'm planning to use until it kaboom

Worth to use till end of life seriously. Just small rattling. Not even a problem since 2012.

Are OEM Thai or Schmaco engine mounts ok for Swifts?

And is Toyota's T-IV transmission fluid ok instead of the recommended Mobil3309/Suzuki fluid? And how often should you change the transmission filter?
